lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 just seen it, not seen the others but i think its been over hyped, v good but not what i was expecting, thought it would of been better! I reccomend seeing the others, they're great films, especially 3 and 4.
Collymore Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 just seen it, not seen the others but i think its been over hyped, v good but not what i was expecting, thought it would of been better! you really have no grounds to have an opinion on the film if you haven't seen the other 5.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 I reccomend seeing the others, they're great films, especially 3 and 4. Worth watching just for the sound track.
syston_fox Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Saw it last week and Rocky's right back on form. Didnt think it would be any good seeing as he's Sly Stallone is now 60 and after how crap Rocky 5 was but this is right up there with the first one. Recommend it highly!
dandannieldanok Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Slow start but as a last sequel it's pretty good.
MC Prussian Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Might give it a go, but there's nothing better than Part One. "He ran the stairs..."
Stuliasz Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Had to be better than Rocky V. For those people who are confused as to which Rocky is which: Rocky I - Apollo Creed (Rocky loses on split decision) Rocky II - Apollo again (Rocky comes back to claim the title against all the odds) Rocky III - Clubber Lang aka Mr T. (Rocky loses after Mickey dies before the fight then comes back after being trained by Apollo to win) Rocky IV - Ivan Drago (Drago kills Apollo in a fight so Rocky goes to Russia to fight him and basically turns the countries of Russia and the USA into best friends) Rocky V - Tommy 'The Machine' Gunn - Rocky trains up a street fighter called Tommy Gunn whilst neglecting his son. Tommy then betrays Rocky for fame and money and Rocky ends up battering Tommy in a street fight
Suffolk_fox Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 We were going to see this, but like a biff I forgot my 'unlimited' card. So we went back home, then out for a meal then watched 'Pursuit of happyness' instead. Nice film, I didn't cry but had to do that big breath thing that us guys do...

Alexikokopops Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Worth watching just for the sound track. THERE'S NO EASY WAY OUT!! THERE'S NO SHORTCUT HOME!! Just saw Rocky Balboa with my 6 housemates, we've been watching the othger five this week in preparation. "Let's go make some hurting bombs", fantastic.
lcfc_jme Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Rocky Balboa is not a good film. It is the worst out the lot of them - and I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of them either.
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Rocky Balboa is not a good film. It is the worst out the lot of them - and I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of them either. How can you not like Rocky?! They are great films, most of them anyway
lcfc_jme Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 How can you not like Rocky?! They are great films, most of them anyway Nah they don't interest me too much tbh. They actually bore me quite a bit. I don't mind the one with Mr T in it though - I'd have to say that'd be me favourite one
