I think the favourites are India or Sri Lanka. Aus will be without Symonds and maybe Gilchrist aswell so that is very bad news for them.

We're now one of the leading favourites to win it surely, especially seeing as we beat Australia 3 times in a row and New Zealand as well?!? India always freeze on the big stage and can never get over the final hurdle. Sri Lanka aren't a bad one day outfit and will definitely be in with a shout - though a lot depends on Jayasuria. South Africa will have a good crack at it as well I'd say - they've got to be up there with the favourites.

I think this will be a great world cup and the Aussies are far from favourites in my mind as the likes of Pakistan, South Africa, India or Sri Lanka are capable of scoring some big runs.

lcfc_jme Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 I never knew Bermuda, Canada, Ireland or Holland played Cricket The only one I didn't know played was Bermuda as I've not seen them on EA Sports' cricket games. Holland and co. play in their own competitions as well as domestic leagues because they aren't considered good enough to be test playing nations.
