Brainy Posted 10 March 2007 Posted 10 March 2007 We need somebody to quote it and keep it in their mission
hebangsthedrums Posted 10 March 2007 Posted 10 March 2007 I'm holding you to that. We'll need some photographic evidence of such an act... obviously. pervert
Tevez Posted 10 March 2007 Author Posted 10 March 2007 If Amdy Faye signs for Leicester i'm going to do a breakdance in the local supermarket (spar)
dandannieldanok Posted 10 March 2007 Posted 10 March 2007 Another football rumours insight here (delete if already posted): I have it on good authority that Joey Gudjonsson will re-sign for Leicester City from Burnley for £120,000. This will be excellent rumours for one LCFC fan named Alex, who idolises JG. In other LCFC rumours, they are set to announce a new feeder club, Scottish team Fort William. Been hearing these lately : Billy Sharp to Leicester. - 800 k
Molson Canadian Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 here's another one from our favourite site http://www.football-rumours.com/ Leicester will complete the signing of Huddersfield towns strong CB David Mirfin. At 6'3" and 13st, 'Mirf' plays as a centre half and has commanding presence. The deal will go through at the end of the season for 600k
City Lad Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 and another from football rumours... LEICESTER CITY RUMOURS 100% TRUE! Leicester City will not sign Todorov. Expect the Foxes to sign either Paul Dickov (Man City) or Chris Sutton (Aston Villa) These two players have been not seen much football this year and would welcome a move to the Championship. The move, however might not been completed in Time for the Leeds game. All the rumours about Alan Smith are not true but the Dejan Stefanovic (Portsmouth) rumours are true but he chose to stay at Portsmouth until the summer at least. Rob Kelly was also rejected by Luke Moore after Aston Villa accepted a loan offer. With Mandaric hoping to add elders' to the squad, both Dickov and Sutton offer quality. Both of these players might be playing at the Walkers next season as well. Also expect Rab Douglas to be released sooner rather than later.

Sutton and Horsfield upfront. . Dickov has already shown us what he can do, not sure he can do it now though. I think there could be some truth about Luke Moore but he sadly just did not want to move.
City Lad Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 That rumour is, for once, a realistic one. I would take Dickov but not Sutton
Molson Canadian Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 anyone know anything more about david mirfin?
City Lad Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 anyone know anything more about david mirfin? LINK
Molson Canadian Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 He looks a lot older than 22. yeah he looks a bit older but i checked to see if there was anything on wikipedia about him this is what i found from:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mirfin David Mirfin (born April 18, 1985 in Sheffield) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Huddersfield Town in Coca-Cola League One. At 6'3" and 13st, 'Mirf' plays as a centre half and has commanding presence. Regarded as the most talented player in the team, he graduated from the Academy in the 2003/04 campaign and made an immediate impression, helping the team keep 16 clean sheets out of the 25 matches he appeared in that season and also scoring 3 goals. A regular threat from set-pieces due to his aerial presence, Mirfin is tipped for big things in the future. His main attributes are his pace and strength, which give him the nickname 'The Ox'.
Molson Canadian Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 well i've been doing some more research on mirfin and according to a huddersfields supporters site celtic and sheffield have been linked with him recently too
dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 I'd take neither. Same here, both were once good but shit now. We need to go for long term acquisitions like Billy Sharp or at least useful old timers like when we got Sir Les.
Brainy Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 I'd love Billy Sharp here. There are always doubts about players from lower leagues stepping up a division, Fryatt has shown this. But Sharp was mentioned last year and nobody took him. This year he's just as good and i'm sure he'll do well in this league.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 A mate of mine works at Tottenham as a Accounts worker and he has seen paperwork that suggest that spurs duo Danny Murphy and Phil Ifil will join Leicester City for £1.5m and season long loan respectivily. Murphy is the player that Rob Kelly tried to sign a few weeks ago but Martin Jol kept him back because of the loss of form of Davids and Tainio but the deal, which is currently still going through, will be finished in the summer and Ifill will join on loan which will possibly see Richard Stearman join Sunderland for 750, 000. Also heard that Alan Thompson will join the foxes on a free when Leeds finally go down and Robbie Blake and Ian Moore will join him at the Walkers Stadium.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has told goalkeeper Neil Alexander he will not received an improved contract offer. Alexander made crucial saves to give the Bluebirds victory on Saturday, but the Scottish international could be on his way out in the summer. "We've made the offer to the agent and by what we've heard it's not acceptable," said Jones. "We have to cut our cloth accordingly and the days have gone at this club where players are on big money." Jones added: "I hope he signs the new contract but if he doesn't I'll just get on with it. I don't worry about player who don't want to play for me." Alexander, who has won three Scotland caps, joined Cardiff in May 2001 and has made over 200 appearances for the club. Contract talks have been on-going since December, when the 28-year-old first rejected Cardiff's offer. I know he hasn't been linked with us or anything but I think we should be alerted. Quality keeper at this level.
Joe. Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 News of the world earlier said that Todorov would be joining next week...
lildave3 Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 News of the world earlier said that Todorov would be joining next week... The sooner the better.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 News of the world earlier said that Todorov would be joining next week... The sooner the better. After spending a good £100 on tickets and travel to watch Geoffrey Horsfield esq. amble around a couple of pitches for a couple of hours in the last eight days, I am inclined to agree with you.
Soar Fox Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 This is a true rumour i was in manilla on saturday night talking too richard stearman, he said that leicester made an approach 4 teddy sheringham but got rejected due 2 them being in a relegation battle but he will move in the summer. Also tried 4 victor anichebe from everton but he didn't want 2 move. They thought about Izale mcleod but dint want 2 take the risk as he is not proven at this level todorov will come in this week. 100% true spoke 2 him personally.
