Bryn Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 You lose- it was Stoke Luke Moore himself said several clubs asked after him. Apparently we've been turned down by a player whose club wanted him to go out but he didn't. I think there's still a chance we at least enquired.

Anyway, an update on one of the players readily discussed on here. I live in London and was in the south side and bought there local rag, The South London Press. In it Jerome Thomas was being interviewed and after reading the article I think we have zero chance of getting him. Apparently he was made available by the previous Charlton boss who told him he will never play for the club. A fee was agreed with Fulham in the Jan transfer window but talks broke down. Then Pardew came in and told him to knuckle down and get fit and he would start and the rest is history. Under Pardew he will be a regular so they wont be loaning him anywhere.

This person never normally talks about transfer speculation or has any standing at the club so it is purely rumour, which is what the thread is entitled.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I don't usually post serious rumours but a friend of mine on MSN who doesn't usually talk about football that much has heard from a cousin of his in Scandinavia that we have been linked in the papers over there with a Danish striker currently playing in the Swedish league with AIK Solna by the name of Sivle Dnommah. I asked him what he was like and he doesn't know much about him but his scoring record isn't that great, have looked him up on Google, but he's apparently quite quick. Anyone seen him play?

Anyone seen him play? heard this one from my freind who used to live in Denmark he is now living in this country! um he seems to think the guy is pretty good, but the thing is we already have a fast CF using the name of Elvis hehe. why would we want someone else who can run in on goal and then fcuk it up!

Just the sort of player we need. Unfortunately I don't think there's much chance it'll happen.
