Greening is playing 1st team football week in week out for W.B.A with them looking likely that they are going 2 get promoted why would he leave? Forsell always injured. Alan smith forget it, Man Utd need him with larsson going back and saha injured. We won't sign anyone high profile with Rob Kelly in charge. Harry Redkanpp For me good manager can wheel and deal can get us out of this league

Soar Fox Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 i've heard from a friend of 1 of the ex-directors ( i know that's a bit long winded but i know that my mate knows him) that Kelly tried to sign keith gilespie. he was keen for the move but sheffield united wouldn't let him go. How the ex-director knows this i don't know, just passing on what i've heard. i've heard from a friend sisters boyfriends that we are going 2 sign someone. We have heard all this rubbish before either come on here with real facts or don't bother coming on at all anyone can make stuff up just don't post your rubbish STORIES on here.

I think like MM said we should sort out our international scouting system, and then start bringing in some quality players from abroad. I think the english transfer market is to competitive at moment and doesn't have a lot on offer for fair prices.

You may laugh, but all the talk from the pompey fans is he is coming here till the end of the season. They are up in arms because he is one of only a few who can score a goal for them. He,s been out injured, but is now up to full fitness by playing in the reserves, but harry wont pick him.

Obviously the Mandaric factor may have alot to play here, but they are still within a sniff of the play-offs. Let's hope Toddy see's his long term future here and he comes in until the end of the season with the view to a permanent deal in the summer when his contracts up.

Which just shows how far we've fallen Absolutely but without proper creative players Todorov would be taking a great risk joining us instead of taking his chance of helping Stoke sneak into the play-offs. Not only do we have to restore some style to our football but we have to regain our credibility among the game's players and it is plain to see we're not going the right way about it.

I won't believe it until I see it in all fairness - if there was a choice between Stoke and Leicester at the minute it'd have to be Stoke all the way surely. He'd be a quality addition to our squad, there's no doubt about that. In Horsfield and Todorov, we will have the most mobile strike force in England.

It worked for Portsmouth - we never thought they would last the pace in our last promotion season with the likes of Steve Stone, Paul Merson and other oldies. But they did, went up as Champions and have stayed in the Prem.

(I've been on this forum for a while now, I still don't know who to trust because so many people come on here spouting drivel and claiming they have inside information it's hard to work out). I personally can't blame the man for turning us down if he has - we're useless on the field and our way of "playing football" probably will not suit him or help him in the slightest.

And right now Leicester is a potential graveyard for any forward. We need someone competent and credible at the helm before anyone worthwhile will come aboard the listing and adrift HMS Leicester!
