Rubbish... decent players who are available on loan will go where they are wanted. Things like distance they have to travel have more of an effect on their decision than who the manager is. Look who stoke signed, I bet some of the players they got didn't even know who managed stoke before they went for talks.

It's been rumoured repeatedly for months... pretty much since the start of the season, really. The reason for the rumour seems to be the fact that he was raised in Brampton (if I recall correctly) - which is an upmarket-ish suburb of Toronto.

dandannieldanok Posted 12 March 2007 Posted 12 March 2007 Been told that we are looking at bringing in Herold Goulon from Middlesbrough (youngster who they signed in the summer). He is a French centre midfielder but I wouldn't trust this as ths guy said a few weeks ago Sutton was coming which hasn't materialized yet. It's a rumour to keep us thinking though.

We are in more desperate need. Jon Parkin is poor; although I'd take Hendrie or Salif Diao and who else they seem to have signed that was 'eye catching' (can't remember who however)..... Rob Kelly WILL be given a chance under the new Milan Mandaric era but MUST have City in the top 6 by the end of september otherwise Mandaric will look for another boss with Harry Redknapp and Aidy Boothroyd among his priorities. Kelly will be given 5 million to spend in January but Mandaric will expect it to be well spent. Stoke have had some decent players on loan all right with Hendrie being the pick of the bunch. What I like about there deals is that a few of the loan deals have turned into permanent deals and the fact that a few decent players have come along may sway players like Todorov going there instead of us. I hope Todorov looks at the bigger picture and joins the Mandaric fun machine !!

Todorov has rejected us once so why do we want him? we need players who want 2 come and play 4 the club. Stefanovic is just waiting 2 see if he gets a new contract if he dosen't then he will come and plau 4 us we don't need these sort of players.
