THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I blame him for world famine too. Is it normal for Tim Davis to act negotiations regarding signings, if so, what hope do we have Tim Davis + Rob Kelly =
brookfox Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Yeah that's what he meant I must have missed something, as I have no idea why I'm getting the ?!
Flexx Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 It would be alright if there was a future fee involved, but if it was just £100K for the rest of the season then Rob Kelly doesn't have a clue
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I must have missed something, as I have no idea why I'm getting the ?! actually I retract that earlier comment, Tim Davies did give us free flags to woo the lads onto promotion
andyh1884 Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Forssell in? Wouldn't object. Say's he's 'on the verge of joining'
The Reverend Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 sauce? Brown or Ketchup? Firstly, Lee Cook didnt destroy Leicester he was distinctly average. Secondly, if we offered 100k for his services for the remainder of the season (8 games?) then it wouldnt be a bad deal for a small team like QPR (although it could hurt their results). Thirdly, if this offer was an offer of a loan for the rest of the season with a view to a 100k move then its stupid. I have come to the conclusion that Kelly must of let QPR win last week so that we could get Cook, but obviously theres been some misunderstanding.
Flexx Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Forssell in? Wouldn't object. Say's he's 'on the verge of joining' Says he was on the verge of joining, so he might have rejected
The Reverend Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Forssell in? Wouldn't object. Say's he's 'on the verge of joining' We've already got one striker thats constantly injured, i dont think we need another.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 We've already got one striker thats constantly injured, i dont think we need another. He's barely played a game for 2 years. When's kelly going to do justice to Hume and address the creative midfielder problem
lookwhaticando Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I'd take Forssell - even if he's less than fit. Slighly unfit Forssell or Geoff Horsfield? Like that decision requires any thought...
Ric Flair Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Can you actually see any teams letting fully fit players, with games under their belts who have been playing well and scoring goals leave at this stage of the season? If that's what people are expecting you are all going to be very disappointed. Of course I don't expect that. Shaun Newton has hardly been playing week in, week out for the first team before he came here. But signing a player who's had operations on both knee's, hasn't played a competitive game for months at this stage of the season is ludicrous. I can usually find some positives in situations like this, even if it's false pretence. But I can't with this. Forssell is a quality player, but a player who's badly out of shape. We have a young striker who we paid a significant amount of money for in exactly the same boat, surely we should be using the remaining 8 games to get him back in to the swing of things in the first team? More confirmation that Rob Kelly is a coont.
andyh1884 Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 We've already got one striker thats constantly injured, i dont think we need another. If he gets injured we send him packing back to Brum, that's what usually happens with loan deals isn't it? Anyway, I'd rather have a crock than the horse
Flexx Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Trouble is Forssell isn't a Hume type of player. He doesn't work for goals, he waits for other players to set him up so he can finish. And that won't happen with the players we have
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I heard was for sale... For... sale... For... ssell... No, doesn't quite work. Good effort though, and I'm a smashing lad.

Leicfox Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Kenton gone to West Ham on loan ive just been told. Apparently seen it scroll along the bottom on SSN. ?
