Geo V Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 where have you seen this? My brother told me he was interviewed on SSN about stuff like his comments on Rafa Benitez and he said there may be one or two players in. As for Toddy, as I said earlier I`d be surprised if Portsmouth let two strikers go on loan with no option to bring in any replacements.
Geo V Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 BTW, I see that Chopra has been confirmed out injured for at least 4 matches. What odds a good manager like Dave Jones steps in an nicks a decent striker without too much fuss whilst RK bemoans his luck whilst he turns over every stone?? I bet it happens later....

RK has made a mockery of finding decent players so has lowered his standards and got cack in whilst other decent players have moved elsewhere. I hope Im wrong for our sake as fans as it would be great to actually get a loanee in that the majority of the fans would say "great signing" BEFORE he plays!
JoeyB Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Todorov to sign for Leicester on Thursday- from JoeB From football rumors Ya Linkage now who's trying to be the funny begger?
Geo V Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 From football rumors Ya Linkage now who's trying to be the funny begger? Ive had a little read on some Pompey sites this morning to see if anything is happening regarding Todorov but to my surprise all I have seen is fans calling for Toddy to start! Apparently he scored twice in the reserves and the locals are calling for him to return to the first-team who are misfiring! I`d be shocked if we managed to get him now.
Master Fox Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Lcfc- Leicester are to name Jamie redknapp as manager, he will bring in his old Lfc pal Steve Mcmanaman as assistant maybe even player assistant. this will also help Leicester secure the services of hotshot Robbie Fowler. This is Fact Milan has already had meetings with Redknapp
Master Fox Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Rumour has it that Master Fox looks the dead spit of Rutger Hauer Making many a guy weep for that extraordinarily good-looking Aryan (Hauer's Dutch but ... same thing), he no doubt, made legions of guys sneak into their girlfriend's supply of Clairol

Surprise surprise. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...+to+sign+Feeney Not only is Feeney is decent player Jones looks like he has tajken advantage of Luton being managerless and that Feeney is OOC in the summer and has brokered a deal. Why cant we have a manager to see things like this???!!

foxes_fan Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Have it on very good authority that Mikael Forssel will be with us for the rest of the season by 5pm tonight. Watch this space.

Milan Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 With them signing Andrew Cole I can see that as a possibilty.

No doubt he'd be a great addition, and could well supply some goals whilst here as well, but I think he'd get offers from clubs better placed than ourselves if he were to go out on loan somewhere for the remainder.

Birmingham are hardly going to let him go to a team in with a shout of the playoffs.
lcfc_jme Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Birmingham are hardly going to let him go to a team in with a shout of the playoffs. I agree, but there are teams above us in the league who can still finish a lot higher than what we can hope to, are in better form than us and are mid-table playing better football than what we are.
Ric Flair Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Have it on very good authority that Mikael Forssel will be with us for the rest of the season by 5pm tonight. Watch this space. **** hell. Let's get another un-fit striker in. There's no questioning that Forssel is a quality striker, but he's had an atrocious season with injuries like Fryatt and hasn't played for a long while. Todorov I suppose is in a similar boat, but at least he's been injury free for most of the season and has been bagging for the reserves. I'm un-impressed if this is true.
Babylon Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 RK has another view on the situation... "No-one will turn us down over cash now" - Kelly, The Mercury Yeah that's what he meant

One or two maybe but I think Birmingham's main concern will be that he gets match fit, perhaps with one eye on the play-offs. He'd get a game here easy. They won't be too bothered about league position, form or style of football as long as he gets minutes under his belt, presuming he is going on loan to anyone in the first place.

Can you actually see any teams letting fully fit players, with games under their belts who have been playing well and scoring goals leave at this stage of the season? If that's what people are expecting you are all going to be very disappointed.
Onion Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has laughed off a £100,000 Leicester bid to take Lee Cook on loan.Paladini framed the offer and hung it on his wall alongside the phrase ‘You’re having a laugh’. He thought Foxes chief executive Tim Davies was feeling dizzy when he made the bid for the £2million-rated winger after seeing him destroy Leicester in the 3-1 win at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday. The Rangers chief said: "I thought the man must have banged his head or something."
