I could understand this if we still had TNBD and Ronald McDonald running the club. We now have an owner who wants premiership football and has a few quid to spare, selling our best player before the transfer window even opens would seem bizarre. Mandaric is indeed a bizarre character though but he'll do the business for us. It's probably not even true anyway.

davieG Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 He only just signed an extension to his contract with us last summer, he would only be allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement if he was out of contract in the summer which is clearly not. The only way he could go to Brum is if we sold him and I would imagine there would be a biggish fee involved.

Next, LCFC will try and bring in out of favour Premiership striker Teddy Sheringham, as WHU are on the way down anyway, teddy feels that Leicester are about to shoot back up so he wants to join in on Millan's plans. They will try and bring in another experienced striker in the form of Robbie Fowler, although he is more likely to join the MSL next season. Also expect Hinkley United to become a feeder club to Leicester when Millan's plan starts to work. 100% true, as usual dk LCFC Rumours: Leicester will swoop for seasoned striker Neil Mellor.
