SystonFox Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 a sellout HA - we didnt sell out when tickets were a fiver so we won't sell out against a small insignificant team like West Brom. Its just not gona happen i wouldnt say west brom are a small club. as has been said in the thread they have the best squad in the division and all without spending agazillion dollers. i'd be suprised if they dont get promoted automatically and if they dont make it in the plays offs it'll just be bad luck on the day cos it is a complete lottery in the end!!! im looking forward to the game, once we get past our bogey side/ground burnley who we havent scored against in the past 5 games!!!! if you sell the 3,000 away end it'll boost the gate and if n block is publicised again you may feel some good atmosphere either side of your fans but this ofcourse depends what happens in the week with some possible loans. todorov from pompey and hopefully a solid midfielder.
Thracian Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I agree mate, AJ is sh*t but has played well for us in the last couple of games and got his first goal for us yesterday. The food and atmosphere are both average and Fryatt has had injury problems this season and has struggled to get goals when he has played. I bought a burger Saturday. It was so undercooked I couldn't believe it. The same happened at Belvoir Drive. It really suprises me that with City trying to present a "quality" image that they cannot ensure that everything sold under their license is not absolutely as it should be. It is not much to ask for food to be properly cooked, hot, tasty and wholesome.
SystonFox Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 when they are churning out mass produced crap its hard to quality check each piece of meat i am sure. if you want quality burgers proceed to Clarks's in Queniborough. if its good enough for Rob Kelly and Austen Healy its good enough for you, right?!!! on another note i never buy burgers at the walkers since Derby at home 04/05 cos it made me feel ill in the second half and i almost puked when cheering Connollys winner. never again! away day burgers always seem good to me, cardiffs were really nice too.

Its just not gona happen I presume thats sarcasm? Small? Insignificant? You want me to teach you? Or compare our two clubs history?

Scow Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 A draw is a good result only when it suits you. If we're 1-0 down and score a last minute equaliser, then that would be considered a good result based on the circumstances. Flip the coin over, and it's the opposite. Saying that, if you're happy with taking a draw beforehand (especially at home), then where's the ambition to win the game? (Eh up, very Thracian-esque there) We've shown on a number of occasions we can more than match the teams who are supposedly better than us.
Glen_lcfc Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 It was sarcasm Baggie! I just think that we won't get as many fans as Cov though because this ain't really a big Derby Day for us, or you for that matter. Coupled with the expected indifferent result on Tues night and whether or not N blocked is sanctioned again...looking bad! I think we will hit average 20-21000
Joe. Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 I think there'll be a larger attendance than most think to be honest. We've just battered Cov and I'm sure more of those 26 odd thousand that turned up on Saturday will turn out again

Why was your 'n block' sanctioned?
Finnegan Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 This game'll be much easier for ol' Finnegan if Koumas just, miraculously, doesn't play.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 I presume thats sarcasm? Small? Insignificant? You want me to teach you? Or compare our two clubs history? As long as we stop at 1969 thats fine by me.
Geo V Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 I reckon we will turn them over. It will be a goal fest IMO but one thing on WBA, despite hammering there Midlands rivals at home like Cov and winning at Wolves in the cup, they actually have lost all 3 away matches against Midlands rivals in the league. Stoke, Derby and Birmingham have all beat them at there home grounds and they still have us, Wolves and Covscum to play away from home. Lets hope they get some more Midlands jitters when they turn up at the Walkers on Saturday.
