Joe. Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 It has to be one of the worst shows around and I honestly don't understand how it appeals to an audience. It's not funny and she's not clever. And how it managed an award or a second series is totally beyond me... <_<
vanfox12 Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 its awful. no more needs to be said imho She clearly appeals to somebody otherwise she wouldn't have a second series. Did anyone see the Friday Night Project with Steven Seagal the other week? Surreal or what.
Milky Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 I've just watched the first 15mins and switched off. Same shit as last series.
lildave3 Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 I don't dislike it, but would much rather keep the Friday night Project on, now that does make me chuckle.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 I thought she sang, and that was it. What's the go with her own 'TV show'? That would be about as enjoyable as a rape in a dark alleyway.
lcfc_jme Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 The show is poor. She isn't an entertainer, she isn't funny and isn't that intelligent either. Though it clearly appeals to some absent minded people out there which is why she's back and boring the living life out of most sane people in this country.

lookwhaticando Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Is that The Charlotte Church? Interesting.
Matt Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 She's really annoying, it's just like - ohhh look at me, look at me swear and how funny I am. I have nothing against swear but she does it in ever sentance and shes does it with the annoying attitude of look how big and clever I am. Someon say the Friday Night Project...get rid of annoying shit stabber and it would be an ok show.
Thracian Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Women swearing is a major turn off. It costs them all their dignity and femininity.
Finnegan Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Shut up Thracian you dinosaur. What turns you off and on is your own business, but "costs them all their dignity and femininity" is just retarded. Ignoring the obvious chauvinism in that sentence, anyone in this day and age that's still so grossly offended by mere curse-words needs to seriously re-examine their brain. As for Charlotte Church, meh. I could sit and watch the show, the only time I did watch a full episode Johnny Vegas was on it and I have to say the two of them together were fairly funny. I don't think she's that unfunny, I can't see her ever entertaining a crowd at a comedy club, but as a presenter she's bouyant enough - keeping in mind 90% of what she says is probably written for her, you have to question her material as much as her. I personally find her more entertaining than that Russel Brand nob head.
Webbo Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Women swearing is a major turn off. It costs them all their dignity and femininity. i don't mind swearing when combined with some wit (although i must admit it i don't like women swearing), but swearing for the sake of it is pathetic.

DB11 Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 I watched it last night because I was just flicking through the channels and I found that wedding thing really funny.... after that it was sh*t
Leonisco Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 The worst show on TV at the moment, absolute fooking crap. The thing that really pissed me off was that when she had Johnny Vegas on she had the audacity to criticise his show when her own is a complete pile of shit.
Poakey Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Women swearing is a major turn off. It costs them all their dignity and femininity. Agreed Thrac!! I think you have to be welsh to get her show,i tend to avoid shows where the audience are in hysterics and cheer with every sentence that anyone says,Friday night project included.S**t tv i think.

Not only do I think swearing costs women their dignity and femininity, I think having cigarettes dangling from their mouths does the same. Label it chauvanistic if you like - I try not to subscribe to social conditioning so it doesn't matter to me. I think Charlotte Church should stick to what she's good at really, which is singing. In fact rarely have I heard such a fantastic voice on such a less-than-appealing woman.

Agreed thracian ; the feminist mafia have brainwashed alot of younger people and any criticism of female behaviour is met with this sort of ridiculous response . If a woman said that she hated lager loutish behaviour in men, and indicated that she preferred a man to be more of an "old fashioned "gentleman" I'm sure that no-one would accuse her of chauvinism and being a dinosaur. Its just the "Vicky Pollard" standard of behaviour that is being condemned in the same way that Wayne Slob is condemned . But I doubt this will be grasped by those who tend to give the sort of rude response to your comments.
cisono Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 I think having cigarettes dangling from their mouths does the same. Cigarettes are a major turn off in any case...
Ajax Treesdown Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 She is now really becoming a joke. Awful presenter, talks to guests as if she hasn't got clue who they are!! Give me Alan Carr anyday!!!
Milky Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Give me Alan Carr anyday!!! ooooooo gay-bo Friday night project is funny, hopefully it'll be back for a new series soon.
Matt Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Give me Alan Carr anyday!!! Oh dear, Oh deary, deary me! If it wasn't for him I could probably watch the Friday Night Project, but his overeactive gayness and camping up does my head in! Can't stand him, tbh even if it wasn't for his gayness I don't think i'd find him funny.
