Master Fox Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Where have they gone? They used to be amazing and now there nowhere to be seen. Wispa Bars are still here. Think they got disconitued for some reason? Now they've had a gay re-naming to Dairy Milk Bubbles
The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 They used to be called Wispa bars and as MF says, they are now Dairy Milk Bubbles.
The Reverend Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Yeah i thought they were Wispa, not whisper but man they were good. When i was in about year 5 at school a girl offered me a Wispa to go out with her- i just couldnt resist Memories eh..
Wils Posted 6 March 2007 Author Posted 6 March 2007 Oooo.It was a thought that crossed my mind. I may have to get some of these bubble's then.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 And here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/3008325.stm
Jay Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Maverick!! now there was an under appreciated chocolate bar that's sadly no more!! Wispas or dairy milk bubbles or whatever they are called are strictly a last resort in my book
The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Maverick!! now there was an under appreciated chocolate bar that's sadly no more!! Wispas or dairy milk bubbles or whatever they are called are strictly a last resort in my book I've written a few times to Nestle or whoever it was to get Mavericks back in our shops but no luck so far. Apparently poor demand. Surely everyone loved them though? The choccie bar of choice now is the raisin and biscuit yorkie... but like other favourites of mine.. sherbet lemons, cherry drops and tutti-fruttis, they are rapidly dissappearing from the shelves of many shops.

Daggers Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 When i was in about year 5 at school a girl offered me a Wispa to go out with her- i just couldnt resist I hope you reported her to the GTC...teachers are not supposed to do things like that.
The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I hope you reported her to the GTC...teachers are not supposed to do things like that. I remember her I think... Her name was Deborah (Deborah) although it never suited her.
lildave3 Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I have never had a wispa bar in my life, and when i first saw these Dairy Milk Bubbly things i thought, ooo they will be just like an aero. So i bought it, loved it, now i can't get enough. To think it was a Wispa all this time
JoeyB Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Wispa's ruled don't like dairy milk bubbles as much tho'

Alexikokopops Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I remember her I think... Her name was Deborah (Deborah) although it never suited her. If I recall correctly her house was very small, with wood chip on the wall.
Glen_lcfc Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I am/have been/always will be disgraced by this decision. There should be a campaign to bring the Wispas back... I for one would support it.
Louise Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Wispa? Pfft. What about Secret bars? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3394676286237442332
Daggers Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Pfft...what about the advert that spawned HMHB's Dickie Davies Eyes? ...it's oral sex, no more no less.

The People's Hero Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 ' date='Mar 6 2007, 10:36 PM' post='553409']If I recall correctly her house was very small, with wood chip on the wall. If I'm not wrong, she was the girl whom Martin described as 'the best', she was, afterall, the first girl in school to get breasts. And you know how we love breasts.
Zingari Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 I'm going to write to the director general of bbc to see if they can commission a new series called "LIFE ON WISPAS" The plot being ( soft ) centred around a group of foxestalk members being hurled back to the early 70s to change the course of history so that much loved choccy bars never disappear .
