MONreborn Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I have just been thinking about it and it dawned on me, why do we follow football? Why do we watch 11 players who couldnt give a damn about us play on grass twice a week? Why do we pay for it? Why are these players payed in a month what the average person earns in a year. The key question being, why do we care about a round call going in to a net and hence a goal being credited for?
Tommeh Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Because its in our blood, its our passion, our religion and most of all our club!!! Plus what else is there to do on a saturday??

Sit in your ****in' armchair w*nkin' off to Pop Idols? Then try and avoid your wife's gaze as you struggle to come to terms with your sexless marriage? Then go and spunk your wages on kebabs, fruit machines and brasses? Fu*k that for a laugh! I know what I'd rather do. Forest away, love it! Apologies. Im not a hooligan. Just couldnt resist that

The key question being, why do we care about a round call going in to a net and hence a goal being credited for? No offense, but that is stupid. If ya think like that then obviously shows you don't have the passion and the desire to win in the game. Most people lives evolve around football like LD3 said. If I'm not watching I'm playing it. If I'm not playing I'm playing Pro Evo or Football Manager. If I talk to anyone, it normally ends up into football. MY life is football Football is my religion, Walkers Stadium is my church, Milan is our God...and so on.
The Reverend Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Football Factory . I hope you don't know that of by heart. No, no. I thought this thread was deserving enough of me to look for the script. Honest
