Stinkenzo Posted 22 March 2007 Share Posted 22 March 2007 Wasn't Antony McNamee one of the reasons Watford went up? He was brilliant last year. Paul McVeigh wouldn't have been so bad.. Craig Hignett should've returned.

Head Honcho Posted 22 March 2007 Share Posted 22 March 2007 Andy Cole is about the only one I'd have taken. Could be a good signing for next season. I know he's 35 but he'll get 15 plus in this league no problem

Fatbloke Posted 22 March 2007 Share Posted 22 March 2007 as I said earlier on today when people were berating us for a lack of signings, clubs were not willing to loan out players, and the quality of the deals done merely prooves the point ! Geo V Posted 22 March 2007 Share Posted 22 March 2007 as I said earlier on today when people were berating us for a lack of signings, clubs were not willing to loan out players, and the quality of the deals done merely prooves the point ! Thats not neccasarily true. Most of the decent managers did there business in the summer and any changes were done by January the 31st. That was only about 7 weeks ago aso not much should have changed in that time. That doesnt mean that certain clubs Premiership clubs who have nothing much to play for now wouldnt release players for loan, just that we have a manager who doesnt know his arse from his elbow when it comes to doing a deal.
