Thracian Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 . FAO Thracian. I am versatile. Right back is my usual postion. Not looked to see where people have said they want to play though. No problem. I've made a note.
lildave3 Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 No problem. I've made a note. So what's that now? 2 goalkeepers, 3 right backs, 17 centre midfielders and 8 strikers? Looking good.
lcfc_jme Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 So what's that now? 2 goalkeepers, 3 right backs, 17 centre midfielders and 8 strikers? Looking good. I'll play anywhere. That's not me being big-headed, that's just me informing Thracian of my views on positioning. Play wherever the gaffer puts you and try to do as good a job as you can in that position.

Thracian Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Looking very much like the 9th of June. And SUAS said he doesn't want to play so you might be able to have his space. There'll always be a few it won't suit but Saturday June 9th it is (3pm), venue to be decided. I'd suggest a get together for the under 21's Saturday afternoon June 2 (3pm) Aylestone Park.. Confirmations would be appreciated.
lcfc_jme Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Good of you Jamie Were you being serious about the training session by the way Thrac? I'd be up for a training session if it was on. It'd be good for team bonding and team chemistry I think.
lildave3 Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 I'd be up for a training session if it was on. It'd be good for team bonding and team chemistry I think. Me too, would give people an idea on who can actually play aswell.
lcfc_jme Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Me too, would give people an idea on who can actually play aswell. Who cares if anybody is any good? It's a social get-together so everybody can put names to faces and meet people they may talk to through here but not know in person. And a chance to possibly raise some money for charity. Though I think it would be made better if the losers had to buy pints after the game.
Thracian Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Good of you Jamie Were you being serious about the training session by the way Thrac? Certainly. It will be a good chance for people to get to know one another and to get them playing in positions that suit them etc.
lildave3 Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Certainly. It will be a good chance for people to get to know one another and to get them playing in positions that suit them etc. Sounds good to me. Quite looking forward to it actually, just a shame it's so far away.

Aye we're not even in April yet and the only training session set up is for June, with the game to be played the following week! I feel that most of the Under 21's should go to the away game at Preston, or even Barnsley, for a team-bonding exercise. We'll be streets ahead of the old pros by then.
Floating Fox Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Certainly. It will be a good chance for people to get to know one another and to get them playing in positions that suit them etc. You've not got any problems with me being assistant have you Thrac? Put me down for a reserve as well

Or at least hold a vote as to which day is preferable. Aylestone Park sounds good though.
Sir Fynwy Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 dunno fins we need some one to play against first. Is that Gareth Barry look a like you drag about with you any good Lisa? No I won't be playing, I've seen too much cr@p football this season to actually participate in polluting the world with more . Will turn up for a drink though.
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 May I suggest no training for our team. That way, we don't realise how crap we all are until the big day. Adds to the excitement, see?
The People's Hero Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 May I suggest no training for our team. That way, we don't realise how crap we all are until the big day. Adds to the excitement, see? Agreed.

Manwell Pablo Posted 30 March 2007 Author Posted 30 March 2007 Agreed. Frankiewortha has come up with a good idea for training. A pub, and beer.
Hullfox Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 I think we should make Hullfox manager of our team. Bring the fooker on.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 March 2007 Author Posted 30 March 2007 Bring the fooker on. Ok, Hullfox is our manager now .
Thracian Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 You've not got any problems with me being assistant have you Thrac? Put me down for a reserve as well I've no problems but I thought Jonbluefox was already pencilled in. Not that I've heard from JBF.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 A pub, and beer I suggested stillettos as a possible venue as well nice and seedy!! Just you try and keep flair away now!!!!!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 I suggested stillettos as a possible venue as well nice and seedy!! Just you try and keep flair away now!!!!!!! I know a girl who works there, and yes she is a dancer, if I can chase her down maybe I could get free entrance for everyone!!!
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Looks like everything's falling into place nicely for our team. Oh yes.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 March 2007 Author Posted 30 March 2007 I know a girl who works there, and yes she is a dancer, if I can chase her down maybe I could get free entrance for everyone!!! So training is drink, cigerates and strip bars. Well it worked for Georgey best, until it killed him.
