Finnegan Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Can't see Scotland getting back into this, really. If they could have held on 'til half time, great. But that was far too early. They're playing some great build up play but you'd expect the Italians to be too solid. Miller should have fallen over then, btw. Giggs is 1 - 0 up against San Marino, I'm hoping that's the first of fifteen.
MC Prussian Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Northern Ireland are beating Sweden? Yes, and Healy's close to a hat-trick.
lookwhaticando Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 We should do what Lawrie Sanchez would love someone to do... Remove Healy from hell that gloriously shitty dump known as Leeds.
lildave3 Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Northern Ireland - Wales - you won but it was against a shite team, worse than Andorra i believe? Scotland - Unlucky. ROI - Good enough.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Fantastic result for N.I. - absolutely incredible achievement to be top of that group having played six games with the next two being Liechtenstein at home and Latvia away. Pray they get six points. Would love for them to make it.
Joe. Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Wow I'm surprised at Northern ireland. Superb result for them. David Healy turns to goalscoring machine now when he pulls on that green shirt. Well played N.Ireland
Head Honcho Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Northern Ireland - Wales - ROI - Scotland - I think 2-0 against Italy was a result, hate to think how many they'd have stuck past England I'd save your for England 3 Andorra 0.
Daggers Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Fantastic result for N.I. - ould love for them to make it. Agreed - it'd be good for at least one Home Nation to qualify
Brainy Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 I think 2-0 against Italy was a result, hate to think how many they'd have stuck past England I'd save your for England 3 Andorra 0. I think we're more than capable of putting 3+ past Georgia. Oh, and it's never easy trying to score when 11 Andorra players are behind the ball.
Stevosevic Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 why are people even debating it? England are the best side in the UK. fact.
Guest Gist Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 I'd love to see N.Ireland qualify and I hope Healy comes to us when Leeds go down.
BartonFox Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 why are people even debating it? England are the best side in the UK. fact.
Stevosevic Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007  which players from the rest of the UK would get in our side? I would take Giggs and Duff for the left side but only until Joe Cole is back. erm... and thats about it. Bellamy or Robbie Keane as a sqaud player i suppose.
insanity_defence Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Robbie Keane as a sqaud player i suppose Keane is not from the UK.

Why did you feel the need to point out that Robbie Keane isn't from the UK while totally ignoring Damien Duff?
insanity_defence Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Why did you feel the need to point out that Robbie Keane isn't from the UK while totally ignoring Damien Duff? Good point, missed that one. Keane is not from the UK and neither is Duff!
