Posted 3 April 2007 Posted 3 April 2007 FIRST ROUND Graeme Dott v Ian McCulloch Anthony Hamilton v Marco Fu Stephen Maguire v Joe Perry Mark Williams v Joe Swail John Higgins v Michael Holt Barry Hawkins v Fergal O'Brien Neil Robertson v Ryan Day Ronnie O'Sullivan v Ding Junhui Ken Doherty v Mark Allen Matthew Stevens v Joe Delaney Steve Davis v John Parrott Shaun Murphy v Judd Trump Peter Ebdon v Nigel Bond Stephen Lee v Mark Selby Ali Carter v Andy Hicks Stephen Hendry v David Gilbert Starts on the 15th i think. That is a colossal first round tie in bold. What happened to the seedings?
Leicfox Posted 4 April 2007 Author Posted 4 April 2007 That is a colossal first round tie in bold. What happened to the seedings? Ding is not seeded for some reason.
Leicfox Posted 23 April 2007 Author Posted 23 April 2007 Parrott beat Davis 10-9 in a cracker, Davis got dealt a cruel blow when going in-off in the final frame after a great come back. Ronnie is giving Ding a snooker lesson, currently 8-1, so that looks a formality, lets hope Ding dont start rawing this time. Stephen Lee is a cracking price (5/4) to beat Mark Selby tomorrow imo, and im having a few quid on him.
Geo V Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 I havent seen much of it this year so far. Its so boring until the final as the players are characterless these days. The days of cokefilled Kirk Stevens, 30 stone Bill Werbunik slobbering about, Dracula one mile an hour player Ray Reardon and the constant twitching of Alex Higgins are long gone. The only real loon left is Ronny O`Sullivan but he looks like beinga good boy this year
isaidno Posted 24 April 2007 Posted 24 April 2007 Ken Doherty has been knocked out, Ken Doherty (Ire) 7-10 Mark Allen (NI) Leicester's Mark Selby plays Stephen Lee tonight
Leicfox Posted 25 April 2007 Author Posted 25 April 2007 Lindsey Hunter - I would. Come on Porky, 5-4 atm, need him to win for a touch.

isaidno Posted 26 April 2007 Posted 26 April 2007 Leicester's Mark Selby knocked out Stephen Lee. Now plays 2002 champion Peter Ebdon
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Mark Selby has just played a blinding 4 frames in the first half of this mornings session against Peter Ebdon, 8-4 up at the mid session intervel. He looks in fantastic form.
isaidno Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 If Selby wins , he faces Hendry / Carter in 1/4 finals . Hendry is loosing 12 -4. Selby's got a good chance of making the semi finals
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 If Selby wins , he faces Hendry / Carter in 1/4 finals . Hendry is loosing 12 -4. Selby's got a good chance of making the semi finals 10-6 Selby going into tonights final session. Should be 9-7, Ebdon only needed the brown in the final frame of the session and missed it of it's spot when he was straight on it. Bottler Come on Mark!
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Hurrah! Peter Ebdon is stunningly boring. Lose! And lose quickly!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Hurrah!Peter Ebdon is stunningly boring. Lose! And lose quickly! I dont think Peter Eddon has ever done, nor is he ever likely to do, anything quickly....ever.
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 I dont think Peter Eddon has ever done, nor is he ever likely to do, anything quickly....ever. Well... yes. I did think of that after I wrote it. But he could lose quickly, providing the only other shots he takes are the break offs, and well, then sits down. That should be pretty quick!
NorthernFox Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Mark Selby of Leicester reached the quarter finals tonight with one of his best displays by defeating Peter Ebdon 13-8. He now faces Ali Carter in the last 8. Cmon Leicester
