Rightly or wrongly the players demonstrated

I'm starting to feel sorry for RK, and growing to hate the players. Doesn't stop me wanting Kelly out but I hope he finds success somewhere, I genuinely do.

Anyways, BartonFox, I like to think I'm quite adept at forming sentences, so I must ask; who told you this?

Don't expcet an answer from Barton Fox "Mulder". All you'll get back is "the truth is out there".

how do you no hes created this pathetic culture within the club. i get the feeling everyone is just blaming kelly for everything

I'm not blaming him for your atrocious ongoing attacks on the English language

Yes it would be pretty pathetic from the players... but frankly Kelly has done nothing to stop this happening and ultimatley is always been down to him as manager and his coaching staff to carry responsibility for the preperation and performance of the team and both have been dire, has Kelly done anything to improve the attitude of the players, he's created this pathetic culture within the club, the players have done nothing much to help themselves... but in the end Kelly being hoplessly out of his depth is a key factor!

out of his depth???? how, why?

this club has been struggling for years and operating at its level.

No-one knows want really went on but the OS tells us that RK didnt seem to say anything after the game. I think RK knows he is out on his ear soon, the players know that too. Many players know they have been lucky in playing for us in the first place and will go the same way as the likes of Low and COG, playing in lower level football. Players are going through the motions at the moment so its little surprise how shite we are doing. Lets just hope we will stay up and start a new positive chapter with quality players....

True the club has been struggling for years, we've had poor managers (largely a symptom rather than an out and out cause of our problems)... but that does not take away from the fact that RK has shown that he is way out of his depth, any manager should be capable of keeping a team fit, displaying some tactical understanding, augment and strengthen the squad where possible and at least provide some leadership and motivation for his team... on all counts RK has failed therfore he is "out of his depth".

Four players had it out with the manager after the game, when the assistant tried to step in everyone just turned their back and got on there merry way to get changed.

Dressing room has gone and unless Mandaric steps in or we get jammie off other teams misfortunes we are no longer part of the 10.

Personally I don't agree with doing it at this stage of the season, they should have done it earlier or at least the delegation who were going to see Mandaric should have gone through with it. :frusty: But today no one was left in any doubt what little respect they have for Kelly.

Ten seconds is all it took and he finally got it. I am led to believe that 4 players told Kelly exactly what for at the end of the game and not one stuck up for him. When Stowell tried to chip in they all started to get undressed and have their own conversations amongst themselves.

Mandaric has to step in now.

Urm didn't Kisnorbo stick up for him on RL after the game ? saying "All the players are behind Rob Kelly" :dunno:

IF this is true, than i cant help but worry, we are in deep shit, and relegation is looming

Who were the four players and what were their complaints?

Of course.

But remember, you have to be behind someone before you can stab them in the back.

It was hardly a ringing endorsement, also they are behind him sticking up 2 fingers and giving it the willy puller sign.

That's just because they can run away much easier that way once disaster strikes...

I think you missed a trick there Barton...

Thought you'd have gone for something more like that. :P:thumbup:

Well, if true, it will be another valuable lesson for Kelly when it comes to management.

Quite simply you don't make friends of players and you quickly show yourself to be absolutely ruthless if necessary.

It focuses the attention and avoids a lot of problems later.

That said I don't know which of our players would have any right to confront anyone after that performance.

It figures though. I reckon Kelly's been far too nervous of upsetting his senior players.

But what does he do. He follows orders from MM and signs more senior players.

Yet younger players are invariably better, fitter, faster, more durable and a damned sight more receptive to ideas and instructions.

Build your own team I say and be faithful to your own principles with people who will have the chance of a lifetime and therefore good reason to respond.

Far better that than trying to build with ailing cynics who are old enough and cunning enough to shift the blame if all goes wrong.

I don't know who would have formed any deputation to MM but if our boss had any sense, and I'm sure he has with the business success he's enjoyed, he won't be impressed and will have marked the complainants cards for another time not far ahead.

He'd have been far more impressed had they done their talking on the field and triumphed despite Kelly rather than succumbing supposedly because of him.

Typical Barton post stirring it with no detail to prove your claim.

If you want us to believe any of your "I'm in the know" posts in the future Barton, then name the 4 players

Won't hold my breath

Totally agree with u there Thrac! I just get the feeling Kelly is just too nice! Sounds a silly thing to say i know but look at how he reacted to the 3-0 loss, he was all for 'shouldering the blame' and not willing to critise a shocking display by the players! I think he made some good changes to the starting line-up and did what needed to be done! I am not excusing Kelly but i think the players really let him down and were totally uninspiring! He should have given them a proper bollocking but I very much doubt he did. Anyone who suggests it is ALL down to the manager is wrong! The players for me have been just as bad and they too, should be getting the sack!!!

As I said before, like all the garbage BF spouts this is utter clap trap and totally untrue !!

Who do you know who would be in the dressing room after an away game and would tell you what happened in there? There's going to be all the staff who travel on the coach and that's about it. That includes the players, coaching staff and then people like Paul McAndrew who go along to help with the kit. Honestly I don't believe you know anyone who would 've been in there and if you know someone who knows someone who was then the story is likely to have been exaggerated greatly by the time it reached you. While there may be an element of truth in this story I think the details are exaggerated.

I do know such a person and I can tell you now, as usual, BF is talking crap !!

So if that is the case, what is Barton's agenda?
