BartonFox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Personally I don't agree with doing it at this stage of the season, they should have done it earlier or at least the delegation who were going to see Mandaric should have gone through with it. But today no one was left in any doubt what little respect they have for Kelly. Ten seconds is all it took and he finally got it. I am led to believe that 4 players told Kelly exactly what for at the end of the game and not one stuck up for him. When Stowell tried to chip in they all started to get undressed and have their own conversations amongst themselves. Mandaric has to step in now.
Joe. Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 It's going to happen it's just a matter of time. personally I think he'll wait either until the summer, or when we have 2 or 3 games left. Manadaric has no choice but to sack Kelly surely? We know he wants results fairly quick and he can see that Kelly's just not getting them. It's going to happen, it's just a case of when.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 If that is true, what's the point in the players having a go at Kelly? They've not performed any more than he has.
Flynny Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I can actually believe that. It'd explain why Kelly sounded so suicidal. Where'd you hear it? Any more details (what players, etc?)
Guest Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 If that is true, what's the point in the players having a go at Kelly? They've not performed any more than he has.I would, passing the buck is my favourite hobby.

dandannieldanok Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 How can the players complain and rant at Kelly, what did they say; "It's your fault we are shit and can't perform basic defensive tactics" Some of them should be kissing his feet for giving them so many undeserved chances in the team.
BartonFox Posted 9 April 2007 Author Posted 9 April 2007 how do you no this and i think if they did do that there disgusting its there fault we lost Until you can construct a sentence properly do not address me again.
Milky Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I reckon Nisse has had a few things to say, hence the 2 game benching.
Flynny Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I reckon Nisse has had a few things to say, hence the 2 game benching. Since he's played at a higher level than most of them that wouldn't suprise me, actually.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I reckon Nisse has had a few things to say, hence the 2 game benching. Possibly, I'm sure Tiatto would have chimed in at some point despite the fact he is going. Perhaps Hughes did, I'm sure he is fed up after the fans reaction against Derby.
Mort Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 how do you no this and i think if they did do that there disgusting its there fault we lost Yes it would be pretty pathetic from the players... but frankly Kelly has done nothing to stop this happening and ultimatley is always been down to him as manager and his coaching staff to carry responsibility for the preperation and performance of the team and both have been dire, has Kelly done anything to improve the attitude of the players, he's created this pathetic culture within the club, the players have done nothing much to help themselves... but in the end Kelly being hoplessly out of his depth is a key factor!
a-fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Until you can construct a sentence properly do not address me again. fook you
Bryn Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I'm starting to feel sorry for RK, and growing to hate the players. Doesn't stop me wanting Kelly out but I hope he finds success somewhere, I genuinely do. Anyways, BartonFox, I like to think I'm quite adept at forming sentences, so I must ask; who told you this?
potter3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 If this is truely what they think why don't they come out and say it publicly, rather than recyclng the same old patronising shit Until you can construct a sentence properly do not address me again. Harsh

Mort Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 i get the feeling everyone is just blaming kelly for everything Thats right, I'm blaming the manager for having an unfit, unmotivated team... furthermore I blame the manager for his poor signings that have lacked any ambition and have underlined a total lack of tactical understanding that has been displayed countless times over the course of the season and finally we have seen an utter lack of leadership on the part of a manager unable to manage[/b] his players and is always too keen to seek to avoid culpability for the team's failures while baffalingly refusing to address the team's weaknesses... so yes I i am blaming Kelly as the manager for failing in all these tasks that are the job of the MANAGER!!!. Increasingly the performance and attitude of the vast majoirty of the players is utterly indefensible... but that does not detract from Kelly's failures, indeed the collapse amoungst the playing staff is in many ways a symptom of the failures of the current coaching staff led by Kelly and the fact that this regime has been allowed to get away with such incompetance for so long! How anyone can maintain that a "good" manager or even a "good" coach could oversee the debacle that this season has become is simply unbelivable!

Like most of your posts BF this one is utter clap trap !!!!!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Who do you know who would be in the dressing room after an away game and would tell you what happened in there? There's going to be all the staff who travel on the coach and that's about it. That includes the players, coaching staff and then people like Paul McAndrew who go along to help with the kit. Honestly I don't believe you know anyone who would 've been in there and if you know someone who knows someone who was then the story is likely to have been exaggerated greatly by the time it reached you. While there may be an element of truth in this story I think the details are exaggerated.
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Think of the club as "The Good (the fans), The Bad (Rob Kelly) & The Ugly (the squad)".
Guest Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I'm past caring. I said my piece at the final whistle, I hope the lot of them heard it.

Guest Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Good on you Lisa. But you should have made sure they heard you.I shouted as loudly as I could, but as everyone else seemed to be giving a piece of their mind, it could have got quite confusing for the players.
