dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 [probably already covered but who cares] Derby boss Billy Davies has accused Leicester's Danny Tiatto of elbowing Giles Barnes off the ball in Good Friday's 1-1 draw at The Walkers Stadium. Davies was incensed, believing Tiatto should have been shown a straight red card for the incident. The promotion-chasing Rams had to settle for a point after Foxes substitute Matt Fryatt equalised Craig Fagan's opener for the visitors. Davies said: "If I am correct in what I think I saw - and I am willing to be corrected - Tiatto gave Giles Barnes a clear elbow in the face. "The assistant referee should have intervened at that point but as it was, Tiatto was lucky to stay on the pitch."

DB11 Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 I hope he did - if he did it wasn't obvious enough to me. Maybe a red card would've woke the players up?

Milky Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 He did do him in the face, it clearly shows that on the replay. Fair enough though, my bro went to college with barnes, let's just say he deserves a slap or two.

Monk Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 Don't care - he's leaving in a few weeks, he can elbow, punch, kick, or two footer anyone he likes so long as we stay up. Would be nice to see some passion in the side at any rate. Go on Danny - go out on a high note!!

Simon Posted 12 April 2007 Share Posted 12 April 2007 Foxes utility-man Danny Tiatto has accepted a violent conduct charge against him following a separate incident in the same match. The Australian has been handed an automatic three-match ban. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_1/6546575.stm

He has always put 100% into the games and while i've slagged him off many a time, at least he tries his best and gets stuck in. Unlike virtually everyone else.
