Nalis -6 Dublin - 6 Also thought Scowy was brilliant today, he won everything and deserved the winner!
Mark Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Also thought Scowy was brilliant today, he won everything and deserved the winner! 60626 Are you sure? The number of times i heard Jon Sinclair say ball forward to Scowcroft, but Sonko/Ingimarsson beats him was unbelievable today. Good to hear we played some good football today
Craig Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Walker - 7Maybury - 8 Stewart - 8 Dabizas - 7 Heath - 6 Gillespie -7 Tiatto -9 Gudjonsson -7 Williams -7 Connolly -8 Scowcroft -9 De Vries -8 - looked excellent when he came on for the last 10! Nalis -6 Dublin - 6 Also thought Scowy was brilliant today, he won everything and deserved the winner! 60626 Scowcroft was awful in the air, he looked ok played into his feet though. Better than his average performance, but still not good enough. Great header though in the 93rd minute
Fox 4 Life Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 He won alot in the air and brought the ball down to his feet well, for the first time i could see the scowy and connolly partnership looking ok, he was far better than normal! But we defineltly played some excellent football and its very encouraging! Also on another point i saw Matt Elliott at the ground so not sure what he was doing there if he has had his contract cancelled?

Durnerz Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Walker 7 Maybury 7 Dabizas 7 Heath 6 Stewart 7 Gillespie 6 Gudjonsson 8 Williams 8 Tiatto 7 Connolly 6 Scowcroft 6 De Vries 7 Dublin 5 Nalis 5 A very encouraging performance and fightback, central midfield looks a lot lot stronger and de vries adds class up front, not connollys day today, missed some very good chances, but good to see scowcroft find the net and put in an improved performance, he was over the moon with his goal.
Anish Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Excellend performance by the team today, our passing and moving and interplay was outstanding at times. Should have won more easily if it wasn't for our bad finishing and their superb goalkeeper who saved them time and time again. Walkerr 7 Maybury 7.5 Heath 6.5 Dabizas 6.5 Stewart 7.5 Gillespie 7 Gudjonsson 8* Williams 7.5 Tiatto 8 Connolly 7.5 (should have scored the one v one with the goalkeeper) Scowy 7 (quite poor in the first half, didn't win many headers etc - but improved massively in the second. He showed more determination and commitment and his link up play was great at times) De Vries 7 (what a run that he almost scored from!) Nalis 6 Dublin 6
connolly19 Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Walker - 7 Didnt have much to do but was steady the back line Maybury- 8 Fantastic, complemented winger Stewart - 8 Same as above Dabizas - 7 I thought he did well today and was always in control Heath - 6.5 Werent the best game I have seen 'Sticks' play although still good Gillespie- 6 Was vey lazy today and he cannot head a ball Tiatto - 7 Same old Danny Gudjonsson - 7.5 Broke up play well Williams - 8.5 MOTM he was brilliant today, switched the ball well Connolly - 8 Worked tirelessly again Scowcroft - 8 Better performance from Scowy De Vries - 7.5 Played well when he came on. I think he is ready to start Nalis - 6 Werent on long enough to pass judgement Dublin - 6 Same as above

You can only question him about that if you went to the match or saw the whole game on tele.
Solihullfox Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Walker - 7.5 - Good performance, no chance with the goal. Maybury - 8.5 - This man is class Stewart - 7 - Another good showing from Stewart, new man since CL arrived. Heath - 6 - Struggled to keep Sir Les and Forster quiet. Dabizas - 6 - I seem to sit and cringe waiting for the next cock up. Gillespie - 6 - Not good today tho' did head 3 balls in a few mins (no, he really did) Tiatto - 8.5 - Full of running and some good lay offs Gudjonsson - 7 - Worked hard if not spectacularly Williams - 9 - Cracking performance, let's see the same next week Gareth. Scowcroft - 7.5 - Crap 1st half, changed man in 2nd. Connolly - 8.5 - Keep it up David, the goals will come when the luck changes. De Vries - 8 - This bloke will be a real handful when he's fit Nalis - 7 - Up your game like Williams did today and influence games Lilian Dublin -7 - Wasn't on long enough to make a judgement really Overall this was a much better display. We looked uninterested for first half hour but after that I thought there would only be one winner. So nice to see us PASS the ball. Please, please continue the improvement Leicester.

Cobbo Posted 30 January 2005 Posted 30 January 2005 Walker - 7 - Made a couple of good saves. Generally his kicking was class, actually put Reading in danger at times! Maybury - 8 - Class Only made one error, in the first half when he had his pants pulled down. Was solid apart from that and going forward he did some cracking things Dabizas - 7 - Solid, with a couple of errors. Heath - 7 - See above (moments of passing around actually involved Heath ) Stewart - 6 - Solid at the back except for some ball watching moments. Played some good balls into the box. Gillespie - 6 - Fairly quiet game, moments of quality, but not many! Lots of effort Gudjonsson - 7.5 - Croke up things well Kept it simple and looked like a proper holding midfielder. Williams - 6.5 - Fairly annonymous, but at times did something special, some great balls. Tiatto - 7 - Loads of effort as always and did some quality things in the game too Scowcroft - 6 - Won a few in the air, but made some great touches, laying people off all game. Good second half and obviously he scored the winner :D Connolly - 7 - The guy is class Showed so much class at times, mocking Reading, just needs the finishing touch at times! Cracking effort. Subs: de Vries - 8 - Looks forking great, cracking touch and strength. So unlucky not to bag after his run through Gonna be good Nalis - 6 - Played some good balls and made some good tackles. Dublin - 6 - Kept ball in corner ok!
