"We’ve got the balance of youth and experience but it’s just about finding the right combination and that winning formula. We’ve tried Paul Nixon at different spots in the order, for example. Matthew Boyce has had a couple of hundreds which is great to see. He’s been a little inconsistent so far but it’s hoped that he’s turned the corner now and can start scoring runs consistently. Josh Cobb is a prime example of someone that’s been in fantastic form in the Pro40 and the T20, at the top of the order, yet he’s found it difficult in the Championship games.

"It’s a very difficult path as the two games are so extreme, the T20 and the Championship couldn’t be farer away from each other. Josh has been opening the batting in Pro40 and his game suits that. He’s been playing some very good shots and picking the right ball to hit but the Championship is so much more about the ability to knuckle down, be patient and occupy the crease."

lol Our batting in the longer form of the game is abysmal. However i am going to say it was a ploy to get an extra day of 20/20 planning in. :rolleyes:

Absolute shocker, and against local rivals too..

Looks like another CC wooden spoon for us this year.. :(

Such a shame given the improvement last season.

Going on Sunday away at Durham. Scorchio predicted and the missus wants to meet Colly! Dinner at Spoons + beer and cricket, Perfect Sunday if we win and I get lucky!! :whistle:

Foxes!

Bowling first and on sky again today. Hopefully it will be as much of a thriller as last time, hate that payday is monday and not friday as im only 10 minutes away!! :(.
