I seen him play in the second eleven match against Derbyshire Amateurs, not so long ago. He was batting i think. This was the game where we posted 400+ inside 2 days or something. He looked alright. Little bit nervous, but he will come of age once he gets more games under his belt.

cheers for the info

That Kruger seems like a sack of shit in this form of the game, and without Broad who's off with England

Have to agree - from what ive seen/heard so far he isn't setting the world alight. I know kolpak signings are supposed to bolster a side but I would rather we tried a local player for next years side.

The Twenty20 game against Notts may still go ahead - Linkage

LEICESTERSHIRE are optimistic about the prospects of their Twenty20 Cup match against Nottinghamshire Outlaws beating the weather.

Although rain is forecast for parts of the East Midlands on Saturday morning, the Club are doing everything within their power to ensure that the re-run of the 2006 Twenty20 Cup Final goes ahead at Grace Road tomorrow.

Officials have pointed to the example of last week’s Yorkshire Phoenix match when they were faced with a similar battle against the elements.

Chief Executive Paul Maylard-Mason commented: “The amount of rainfall which is forecast for Saturday is far less than we had last Friday, which is why we remain very positive that the match against Notts will go ahead.

“The situation looked very bleak for us at one point in the lead up to the Yorkshire match, but we had a break in the wet weather and our groundstaff did a magnificent job to ensure the game started with only a half hour delay.

“Though we have had a lot of rain over the past few weeks, the ground is looking good in the circumstances and we intend to bring in a second super sopper to help speed up any mopping up operation if that is required.â€

The game between the Foxes and the Outlaws which was scheduled for Trent Bridge at the beginning of this week had to be abandoned on the Monday morning due to excessive rainfall at the Test Match venue. That has heightened interest in the Grace Road meeting, although Leicestershire do still have about 700 tickets available for the match and they expect a limited number of them to be available on the gate tomorrow.

Admission on the day will be through the Curzon Road gates with prices on the gate £15.00 for adults and £10.00 for under-16s.

Not sure whether it's worth going or not
