good to see the likes of maddy, schofield, Loye, Wright and kirtley. Meaning you dont have to be a big name player to be involved

went down to the pro40 game today vs. kent we were pretty poor to be honest the running was dreadful paul harrison didn't look in the best of form. garnett kruger bwled middle and leg stmup line the whole game and kent just took the p*ss bringing out there no.11 at no.3 and even he scored 20. the good things for leicestershire were nico's 61 off 88 and anmjad's 2 wickets in 2 balls. come on leicestershire sort it out

Boon. Sort it out please.

We can only beat Glamorgan in the L.C.C.

Lets sort this mess out please, and never again play Nick Walker.

In the next Pro40 match, hopefully we can win a more matches than last year. We was so close from winning Division One a few years back, at Nottinghamshire's ground, but we lost that, only to concede to Kent. That was our closest chance to win a proper One Day Title. Ever since, we have been dreadful.

Lets think big.

At the moment, we're not, but we should be competing against the big teams. i.e - Nottingham, Surrey. But, we're competing financially against Derbys and Glamorgan. Teams who are one of the worst teams in the country. Very embarrassing indeed.

County Championship, Pro40 - lets get promoted and play against the big boys instead of playing against little teams. Maybe, we will get cash and able to afford players like Hodge, Maddy...who we stupidly sold to have players like Nick fcuking Walker and Mansoor Amjad who don't perform for us at all.

If only it was that easy !! Our county and one day teams are not very well supported, its only the 20/20 which gets in the full gates. So we carnt compete financially with the big boys, hense the predicament we find ourselves in. We offered Maddy a new deal but couldnt compete with Warwickshire's offer. We need to keep on developing our younger players, get more coming through and try and pick up one or two decent foreign players.

One of my mates told me that LCC have aquired another indian player who won the Cricket Idol competietion.

He said it was in todays Mercury!

I aint got the Mercury and im not sure if he's taking the piss or something!!

A few years ago i used to train at Saffron Lane Gym.

In the changing rooms i met the LCC Coach,i cant remember his nae but he was an oldish guy and a complete gentleman.

He had the then captain with him,think his name was Whittaker???

I told them if they got an INdian at LCC they would double the attendance.

He said to me that the previous season they almost got Tendulkar!!!

Imagine that..Sachin Tendulkar in his prime at Leicester!!! :worship:

Hmmm, suppose it's good for the youngster. Experience in English conditions.

Read some facts that we have missed 11 days worth of County Championship action. How vital could that be at the end of the season, if we didn't have the terrential downpours :blink:
