Lord Nibblington Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 Will they? (am I the only one who looks at the league table ) Look at the league table... ? No. Ability to do basic maths... ? Well, might not be the only one, but it could be a small minority.
Joe. Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 I think you're looking way too into this mate. We're safe don't worry. The scenario you put forward has such a small chance of happening.
Simi Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 I don't think they will be safely in the play offs by the time they play us. They have QPR at Home who are doing alright at the minute and they're on 70 points with Sheff Wed on 68 points in 10th place. Extremly tight in the top half at the moment. Everyone down to Sheff Wed has a chance. Table

Simi Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 love to see colchester do it Geraint Williams has done a great job there. I wouldn't mind seeing them go up ahead of Derby of course.

SystonFox Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 and if leeds / hull drop points in either game they cannot both catch us. but our lads should focus on 3 pts for us
Royston. Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 We all think we're safe but if Southend beat Luton, Leeds beat Ipswich, Hull draw v Cardiff and we lose to barnsley the table will look like this going into the Wolves game.19. Barnsley 53 20. Leicester 50 21. Leeds 48 ---------------------- 22. Hull 47 23 Southend 45 24. Luton 37 Then on last day of season, Derby won't have anything to play for and might decide to send us down. If Leeds beat Derby, Hull beat Plymouth, Wolves beat us, Luton lose to Sunderland, Southampton beat Southend, West Brom beat Barnsley, the table will look like this 19. Barnsley 53 20. Leeds 51 21. Hull 50 ---------------------------we have a better goal difference of 3 but Hull could easily get higher 22. Leicester 50 23. Southend 45 24. Luton 37 All you've done is prove we're not safe which all of us already knew but thanks for depressing me.

It's asking a lot Leeds to win both of their games

He's not bald Posted 24 April 2007 Share Posted 24 April 2007 And i think a draw at Barnsley will do for both teams. Nail on head!..that's what will happen..
surrifox Posted 25 April 2007 Share Posted 25 April 2007 given the piss poor form just before RK was booted out I reckon we would all have accepted 1 point from Barnsley and Wolves fixtures to ensure safety- given that the relegation rivals need maximums. Still its in keeping with the forum to have a "mass- debate"
Geo V Posted 25 April 2007 Share Posted 25 April 2007 0-0 vrs Barnsley in a gentlemans fix Italian style and we`ll be virtually safe.
