MBK Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Odd that its on the bbc site and not on matchlive. I ncan now listen to the 'unbiased opinion' of Taggart. Match console premier tv offspring. BBC sponsored today's game.
lookwhaticando Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Anyone wants Leeds to recoup that -9 in goal difference and see them burning Bates replicas on the stake? When they plunged themselves into Admin, I wanted a saving scenario to pan out, just to rock them a little more. Hull to lose by 5, Leeds beat Derby by 6. The fans, they'd not be happy. I would though.
Brainy Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/local_radio/click listen live # tisnt working
mancunianfox Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Sod the Radio Leicester commentary, the Wolves one has more of the atmosphere and less of the Barber. I have switched back as well. Lasted all of about 60 secs before Barber became too irritating. Plus the Wolves commentators are kinder to us.
Finnegan Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 I've got Barber withdrawl symptoms. Who's this brum clown?
lookwhaticando Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 I've got Barber withdrawl symptoms. Who's this brum clown? I don't know, but Defensive Porridge will now become a commonly used phrase from me in every day life.
Leicfox Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 I've got Barber withdrawl symptoms. Who's this brum clown? The commentry is working from the bbc radio leicester site. Barrrrrrber warts anall.
MBK Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 I don't know, but Defensive Porridge will now become a commonly used phrase from me in every day life. What's that ? I have to admit though I'm finding Barber more tolerable than the beginning of the season. In fact I mistake him for a fan sometimes.
lookwhaticando Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Southampton 0-1 Southend  Wankers. What's that ? I have to admit though I'm finding Barber more tolerable than the beginning of the season. In fact I mistake him for a fan sometimes. The bloke on the West Midlands commentary just exclaimed loudly "Defensive Porridge!" when Wolves had a stab at goal and Logan saved. He went on to explain that the defence (Leicester's) was all over the place, allowing the Wolves chaps to wander in with plenty of room. So... defensive porridge = a defence all at sea.
EXILEDFOX Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 im listening just for taggarts words of wisdom .......... "you gotta hurt em"
Finnegan Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Agreed. I've found the Leicester one now. Reception is terrible and you can't hear the fans, but it's worth it for Gerry Taggart.
mancunianfox Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Dangerous freekick there. Thracian will be going mental at that miss.
Finnegan Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Fook. Don't they realise I've got fifty quid riding on this game? ****s sakes.
