Father Ted Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 G.Neville and A.Cole??? Owen Hargreaves??? or is he still recovering from his broken leg?
escape2victory Posted 26 May 2007 Posted 26 May 2007 Where are people like David James, Sol Campbell, Nicky Hunt, Kevin Nolan or Kevin Davies. These players should have played in that B match y'day rather than tried and tested gash like Phil Neville and Jermaine Jenas.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 It gets worse. Dawson and Ferdinand have pulled out. Add to that the fact that Neville, Richards, Woodgate and Cole are ruled out, and Bridge is looking iffy... the back four looks to be decimated. Phil Neville ( ) could again feature (at RB) and King or Carragher at CB alongside Terry. Nicky Shorey looks likely to play LB unless Bridge is fit. Ferdinand and Dawson pull out.

Theres still time for it to get worse as well. Surely even Smiler can field a team that can beat Estonia injuries or not.

Smiler's teams have been making a hash of things recently... I wouldn't be surprised if we struggle and only win 1-0. You are right though... we should beat Estonia, even with a third string back four.
