I imagine they would if someone stood next to them making a mooing sound.

I believe I have said Milton Keynes is a F**cking weird place once during this arguement. So I wont say it again.

Really? I don't see it.

I think your losing your touch Mr Gibson

I concur.

I noticed this when he posted about drinking in transfer talk.

Have a little patience my children, these things take a little bit of creating and moving I'm only an Admin not God.

We're not poles apart in terms of we've both got similar stadiums,

All the new stadia built in the last 10 years are similar - Derby, Middlesbrough, Southampton. Therefore that argument makes no sense. (This is not even mentioning the fact that you played in a ****ing hockey stadium for the past few years!)

we're both under achieving in our respective leagues

Difference is our league is two above yours. It's way harder to underachieve in the Championship against teams like Wolves and West Brom than it is against the likes of Swindon and Shrewsbury.

and that we're only two leagues apart.

"Only" two leagues? That's quite a lot in my book. There's "only" two leagues between Chelsea and Leyton Orient, does that make them 'not poles apart'?

I have always contended that we are a very similar club to AC Milan as we are only a couple of countries apart.

And we both play football with a team of eleven players - see, even more striking similarities.

In fact, I think the only part where we digress is that we have Elvis Hammond and they don't.

Hahaha AC Milan, up yours.

Swindon? The same Swindon that beat us in the play off final to get into the Premeir League! Pick your teams better

MK Dons new stadium is nowhere near the size of ours its at least 10,000 short.

No, that would be the Swindon team of 14 years ago when they were actually half-decent. Therefore it has no relevance to the Swindon side of today.

Well they side they had was pretty decent for League Two.

The way you said it you sounded like you were attempting to make Swindon sound like a small club when they're not.

I don't want to get embroiled with your tit for tat squabbling, but as we're on the subject your very first post was venomous, impolite and basically insulting...

And every post you've done since has had more to do with hurling insults then making constructive criticism and understanding the real reasons why the club had to move to avoid closure.

Oh good grief. Not really insults TBH, sorry if I caused such offence.

Do you fancy the Dome or not?

Just out of interest RedonRed who did you support before Wimbledon set up in MK? I appreciate your argument about its better them playing in MK than nowhere, but your chairman ripped away a club from its local community for greed and profit, and im sorry but that is not what football is about.

You say we are not poles apart in todays football world and maybe u have a point, but where we are poles apart is in history and heritage. We can look back on games and seasons from the O'Neill, Little and Bloomfield years with pride and thinking about some of the games and occasions still makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Thats what its like to support a "real" football team.

Well sorry if it sounded that way but I was only referring to Swindon in the context of last season.

I didn't really support any team before the MK Dons. I just liked to see a good game of football. The Milton Keynes area has always been a bit of a wasteland for clubs.

You're absolutely right about the heritage part. No contest there, unless the Wimbledon history is controversially taken into consideration.

MK Dons new stadium is nowhere near the size of ours its at least 10,000 short.

Here we go again, as posted before, it's initially going to have a capacity of 22,000 which is just for the lower tier. The upper tier isn't having its seats installed until some time in the future and when it does capacity should rise to around 30,000.

Ambition

Wouldn't you have been better off putting that money towards improving your squad? You don't win promotion by having the biggest stadium you know.

Coming into this post midway I am suprised at the suggestions of similarities between MK Dons and city. Sure they are both football clubs but it kinda stops there.

Having a big stadium clearly has given you expectations beyond your position. I cant fault ambition but keep it realistic. This is about as daft as Forest building a 50,000 seater in the third division - why you will never fill it neither will Forest.

As far as i'm aware, the stadium is being financially under-pinned by Asda who have a store (their largest in Europe) just a stones throw away. Which is slightly concerning as it might end up being called the Asda Stadium...not the best ring to it in the world. :S

If that is the case, then there may not have been the same cash available for players. Anyway, there's only so long a club can remain homeless and it's a club that has historically been homeless since leaving Plough Lane in 1991.

Presumably, if you've come in midway then you've missed all of my earlier comments? I've never suggested that we're currently a carbon replica copy of your team and it would be idiotic to imply that.

In terms of filling the stadium no-one's more realistic about it then we are. It's a long term plan with promotion in mind and accumalating support and in the short term we'll all look forward to stretching our legs out in a stadium that is superior to a lot of grounds right up to the Premiership.

I find it amazing you didn't follow a team until one fell out of the sky and on to your lap.

Look on the bright side. It could be alot lot worse  It could be called the walkers stadium.
