Louise Posted 12 February 2005 Author Posted 12 February 2005 Uh, I know they're not supposed to, but why can't RL filter some of their texts? Every week another moronic comment, this week 'Levein out, we're going out of the cup next week and into League 1'.
Matt Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 Yay another season in the Championship! I feel that we'll do okay when we get maybury back and Tiatto fully charged with Scowy left out altogether, that is as long as De Vries stays well away from his own penalty box  65884 Its his first full game I ain't starting to slag him off because he seems a pretty good player...but the new frankie?!

Every week another moronic comment, this week 'Levein out, we're going out of the cup next week and into League 1'. 65887 They should filter them out, these people are either joking or not right in the head. We're playing better, trying to actually play football, creating chances, it's not going to just happen like that. Hughes sounds a great player that he's brought in. Some people just can't help but pick fault. We lost 2-1 to Ipswich, thats fine with me because they're the best team in the league and we gave them a good game and came so near to getting a point out of it.
Louise Posted 12 February 2005 Author Posted 12 February 2005 Somone has just phoned in and said we should drop Stewart, push Tiatto to LB and keep Scowcroft on the LW
Mark Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 Somone has just phoned in and said we should drop Stewart, push Tiatto to LB and keep Scowcroft on the LW 65894 Pathetic. Some people just don't understand the game, that's all it is. It's best to ignore them. And he must not have been to any games to think that Scowcroft should be played left wing. It didn't suprise me when we picked up the performance when we had Tiatto back on the left wing Stewart left back, regaining that width we needed.
Louise Posted 12 February 2005 Author Posted 12 February 2005 I'm going to have to stop listening, just makes me too angry, how do these idiots manage to work a phone?
Louise Posted 12 February 2005 Author Posted 12 February 2005 Wow! Just saw Jordan's goal on SSN, brilliant.
Mark Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 I sent a text praising the team, i bet they don't read it and just read out the pathetic ones.... Ok, just read it
Louise Posted 12 February 2005 Author Posted 12 February 2005 I sent a text praising the team, i bet they don't read it and just read out the pathetic ones....Ok, just read it 65905 Yours was the one that told the moaners to shut up wasn't it? My hero. Then the presenter basically agreed.

My hero. 65909 Yep. I used to be the one thats moaning but them texts were ridiculous today, we lost against the best team in the Championship, that's all, at least we're giving it a go now.
TrickyTrev Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 I can understand why Tiatto was dropped, he has been very poor in the last few matches and players at the club need to know they are not to good to eb fropped. However, Levein led himself into a tricky situation becuase he doesn't have any other left wingers. Hopefully now he has tried Scocroft on the wing he will not try him out there again. It sounds to me like we were the better team today and could easily have won, you can't really ask much more from an underperforming team going to one of the top 3 clubs in the league.

Guest Daniel Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 Don't know what to say today about this result. I got to listen to the arseholes on the radio calling for CLs head, why?! We lost 2-1 to the best team in the division and we scored one of them goals for them. Surely it couldn't of been that bad?!
Muz Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 The people that txt in to the station are having a laugh.
Guest Daniel Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 I've just seen the goal, it was a beauty. We missed so many chances though.
Wellman Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 I don't know how Ipswich are top to be honest. We were by far the better team and we were actually playing football. Ipswich are shite *well were today* and don't know how they beat us. O hang on, it was 2 defensive errors from us!
City Fan Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 I would like to see Tiatto at left back, and Stewart in a more attacking position at LM. Because lets face it, Stewart can't defend or long pass, and Tiatto cant cross.

It's just when he goes forward people can't help themselves and get on his back so i'm not sure left midfield would benefit him
Cobbo Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 Stewart is a good left back at this level, certainly better there than he is on the wing. His final ball recently has been far to inconsistant. Stewart is very sound defensively, I think you have been watching different matches recently City Fan
Simon Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 Agree about Jordan Stewart (though wasnt at today's match) in the matches I've seen hes played very well at left-back, certainly the most solid of the four. Its his crossing that can often let him down. (Is he still on corners?!!!)
Scow Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 We were the better side today. We missed a number of clear cut chances, and we really should have come away with a point. Their 2 goals was down to our use of zonal marking. Both in-swinging corners, both times the ball was attacked and ended up in the net, although MDV got the second. Even so, this emphasised that Zonal 'marking' does not work. Ipswich looked like scoring with every set piece. It's just as well they rarely created anything from open play. Makin and Scowcroft were awful for the large part. Stearman came on and played well. Looked very composed on the ball and looked much better defesively than the aforementioned Makin (Which is not hard to be fair.) Hughes played well in his first full game. Looks neat and tidy on the ball and made some good forward runs in to the box. Looks a little lightweight, but he made up for it with his work rate and challenges.
