davieG Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 I was in Morrisons near the Walkers Stadium and I noticed Michael McIndoe of Wolves. Could he be on his way to LCFC???? When was this? I was in Morrisons and it's been said that I have an uncanny likeness to McIndoe.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 It's a BOGOF. Buy McIndoe and get Murphy free. Or the other way round.
Kent Fox Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 I was in Asda and saw Sainsbury - Aiden Sainsbury. Then I went to Tesco and saw Morrison - Clinton Morrison. Uncanny Supermarket gossip, eh? all made up. No links or anything.
Blue Bob Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Why is it that these players travel miles to come for signing talks and then think Oh I'll just pop over to Morrisons to do the the shopping - the missus will be made up. Especially when I get home and all the frozen stuff will have defrosted!!!
Brainy Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 I was in Asda and saw Sainsbury - Aiden Sainsbury. Then I went to Tesco and saw Morrison - Clinton Morrison. Uncanny Supermarket gossip, eh? all made up. No links or anything. My mate is a Notts Forest fan and he saw Jack Lester shopping in Morrisons in Derby.

Micky Ruddle Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Thierry Henry returned to England yesterday. Shopped at Morrisons.

stez Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Thierry Henry returned to England yesterday. Shopped at Morrisons. i heard that the first thing beckham did upon arriving in the USA was to fly straight over to the UK to pop into the salford branch of morrissons (6 cans of cider for 3.99 reason 54 ) Hopefully Murray Mints.
Head Honcho Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 murray mints, i was confident re. the interview Splashed out a bit then Did you get the job though ?
Simi Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Splashed out a bit then Did you get the job though ? And if you did... Did the Murray Mints help seal the deal ?
Head Honcho Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 And if you did...Did the Murray Mints help seal the deal ? Personally I find a few Werthers Originals dished out mid interview puts the icing on the cake and they're like putty in your hands.
stez Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Splashed out a bit then Did you get the job though ? no, but i'm glad, because (at the time) i'd given up on breaking into the fast paced world of cutting (h)edge ( ) horticulture and was starting to look at driving jobs, and a few weeks after the interview i got a horticultural job and 3 months THREE months after the murray mints interview i got a job offer off them, smacked a bit of 'our first choice didn't work out' so i politely to them 'no thanks' anecdotes, such as the one above, will be available in my biography 'lack of capability (brown)'
stez Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 Personally I find a few Werthers Originals dished out mid interview puts the icing on the cake and they're like putty in your hands. i offered them 'fishermans friends' i think that was my death knell
Daggers Posted 3 July 2007 Posted 3 July 2007 ASDA rocks. The cheap stuff you can pick up in the clothing section is just brilliant. I found this shirt this afternoon for just £2.00
