shrek1970 Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I have never even heard of this guy Theo Janssen Sunderland tried to sign him last season but he signed a new contract to stay in holland:cool:
Simon Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 That goal against man utd ALMOST worth getting royally stuffed 6-2 for! On the subject of Janssen, I'd be shocked if we signed him now, but hey what do I know?
Brainy Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 I dont think this will go through. We have enough midfielders, though im not saying back-up or competition is a bad thing.
Guest Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 If Hellings turns out to be good then we have the four modfielders i think we'll need ut if MA plans to use Hellings elsewhere or he turns out to be poo I'd be happy with a Dutch international
Ric Flair Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 Janssen is quality, i'd be amazed if we signed him. Like Sacha Ilic, he's a goal scoring midfielder (not quite the record Ilic has from midfield) but there aren't many of them about. He has a mean left peg on him, but he's more one sided than Stephen McPhail, not that that matters if he does the business. I'd like to see him here, I think in a 3-5-2 formation he'd be immense.

Imagine going to a home game and seeing a midfielder score a goal. I'd sleep with Filbert fox again to make that dream come true.
The People's Hero Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 He's not injury prone enough.Matt Jansen - now THERE is a Leicester player in the making. Janssen is quality, i'd be amazed if we signed him.
