Simi Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I had mine on the 22nd June. Really enjoyed the night, the food wasn't great but the DJ was pretty good. I'm sure you'll find a way to sneek some booze in. There are certain places they wont search
davieG Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 What's a Prom, sounds like something girlies have, like a pyjama party or a sleep over?

There are certain places they wont search I hope i do because people have said it hasnt been very good in the past. After party is looking good though What's a Prom, sounds like something girlies have, like a pyjama party or a sleep over? i wish, i would have no worries paying £24 for that.
Sir Fynwy Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 What's a Prom, sounds like something girlies have, like a pyjama party or a sleep over? It's basically a school disco (for us older types), now called a prom due to stupid americanisation of our culture.
Sods Posted 13 July 2007 Author Posted 13 July 2007 Overated. yeah a lot of people have said that, i might be a little wrecked at quorn tomorro
davieG Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 It's basically a school disco (for us older types), now called a prom due to stupid americanisation of our culture. I did know that I was taking the piis hence the refernce to pyjama parties and sleepovers. i wish, i would have no worries paying £24 for that. £24, why not organise your own?
Floating Fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 yeah a lot of people have said that, i might be a little wrecked at quorn tomorro Ahhhh..Good 'old headache. I'll make sure that the megaphone's pointed in your direction, preferably in your ear
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Overated. He's just saying that beacuse he didn't pull.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 He's just saying that beacuse he didn't pull. I heard he pulled one thing?
Floating Fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 He's just saying that beacuse he didn't pull. I'm saving myself for Miss Hullfox
Simi Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 He's just saying that beacuse he didn't pull. Before you say it Andy...Potter doesn't count.
Floating Fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Before you say it Andy...Potter doesn't count. Pffft. He wishes. I've like so moved on.
Sods Posted 13 July 2007 Author Posted 13 July 2007 I did know that I was taking the piis hence the refernce to pyjama parties and sleepovers. £24, why not organise your own? If this is meaning a pyjama party for £24 i think people might be a little put off and wont want to pay to sleep round my house after me asking them to come over. You will definately get an invite anyway davieG Or if its the end of school party/prom then its a good idea but i dont have ridiclous amount of money for buildings/catering and all that shite. Ahhhh..Good 'old headache. I'll make sure that the megaphone's pointed in your direction, preferably in your ear as long as you dont mind a good throw up your way i dont mind
Simi Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Pffft. He wishes. I've like so moved on. Liking how you've kept the American theme going...
Phube Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 It's basically a school disco (for us older types), now called a prom due to stupid americanisation of our culture. Too bloody right!!! It's a School Disco people!!!!!!! Whether you get a tacky Limo to get there or not!!!!
Stevosevic Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Proms are extremely over-rated, its over so quickly after months of hype, make sure you have a good all night party to go to. I remember leaviing ours at Carrow road at one then had a huge house party until eight in the morning, the after party will be better than the prom itself.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Mine was rubbish, pissed it down...we stashed some beers on the playing field so went out half way through to down some. After party was decent tho
Wils Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I was disapointed with my School Prom. The after party was banging though.
Lillehamring Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 ours was called 'sixth form social' - which, even for market harbourough in 1990 sounds like some public school in the 1930s, which it wasn't, tho it was crap, but it did have a bar, so - rah rah hiss boom bah!!!
lookwhaticando Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Do you realize what you've done by posting that picture?
