Milky Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 I'm really starting to lose patience with Prior. Everytime he just gives his wicket away, and not for many runs aswell. You can't really complain about moving Wright up to the top. Cook has been poor the last few games, and when you add the great debut to the fact he opens for his club, it's a decent decision in my eyes. Remember Flintoff has come back, so you'd have to drop either Shah (107 not out last game), or Dimi (Five 6's).

Raj Posted 9 September 2007 Posted 9 September 2007 GREAT WIN....COME ON INDIA ENGLAND!!! It was a pity such an exciting One day series was finished in such a one way game. But like Rahul Dravid said,India had their backs to the wall all throughout the series and kept fighting. In they end they just fell (woefully!) short. England played well throughout and i suppose they deserved the narrow win!

What are you going to do when the likes of Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid retire! Hopefully we'll meet again in the twenty20 world cup.

England have a good youthful One Day team with collingwood as a class player.So to lose by 1 game in a 7 game series at England isn't THAT bad. The World Cup fiasco WAS pretty poor,and i heard that the Indians in India DID want the blood of the players! Must admit when Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid retire,the young ones like Dhoni,RP Singh etc... will have a bloody hard act to follow. India v Pakistan in the 20/20 Group....that would be interesting to say the least!!!
