Flynny Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 England should have scored even more, though! Never really accelerated in the final 10 overs, only the odd boundary here and there. Kept wickets in hand and then didn't take the risks that thats supposed to allow you to. That win should give us momentum and confidence, and if we can just bat slightly better in the final stages next time, we should be able to keep winning, assuming the bowling doesn't fall apart.

Tiny boundaries + lightning fast outfield + nothing in the pitch for the bowlers = perfect batting conditions. It all depends on whether the ball will turn for the two Indian spinners. If it doesn't turn, we've still got a good chance.
