David O'Leary Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 India won the toss yet again! We haven't won a toss against India all summer. Flukey buggers. Dravid truely is a grade A tosser. It had to be said eventually
Flynny Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 I hope so too. Sincerely. From the bottom of my heart. (ahahahahahaha)
David O'Leary Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 Come On Raj show your face, we won't laugh too much honest only kidding :w00t:
Raj Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 MORNING!!!! What a day! It was truely an experience to behold! Indian fans outnumbered the English by at least 3-4 to 1(IT was Birmingham,so what do you expect!!!) but the atmosphere was electric. We were in the Eric Hollis Stand which was the equivalent of the Kop end. There were pockets of England fans scattered all around, the poor buggers must have wondered what they'd let themselves in for!! BUT it was really good natured fun and was a credit to Anglo-Indian relations! Chants of "your supposed to be at home",were met with "Monty plays for England",and some others which cant be repeated!!! There was an incident when some English fans were being escorted out by the stewards(apparently for being over-zealous!) but a whole load of India fans stopped them from doing so as they said they were just indulgning in some good humoured fun. ...and the stewards let them stay! Oh,the game??? Ah fcuk the game!!!! ....Nah...the only time i thought India would win was when Ganguly and Dravid started banging the ball about. When they were out it was always going to be over. Full credit to England...they played very well and deserved to win At the end of the game there were some Lads who were doing some'Bhangra'to a couple of Dhols, and a group of English lads joined in! There was loads of hand shakes and hugs between the 2 sets of fans....You wouldn't get this in an India V Pakistan match at Birmingham!!!! (I'll post some pics later on!!!) India 1 England 2 Anglo-Indian relations up a couple of notches!!!

It was good at the trent bridge when i went, even when Zaheer was pointing out the jelly beans on the pitch and accusing everyone in england's slip cordon us and the indian fans still had a great laugh and we all shook hands at the end of the day and every one went home happy

International cricket isnt something that I have actually attended but I`m sure I`ll break my duck (see what I did there? ) in the future.
Raj Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 Suprise, suprise, India win the toss yet again Its that double sided coin...haven't England twigged onto it yet!!!!
Flynny Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 :laugh:Do we actually ever win the toss? No. Much like Milan if TBJS is to be believed. 1 Wicket down. Anderson again. Loving our batting lineup. Having Shah at the end is a good plan.
Milky Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 32-3 after 12. WOOP! WOOP! We just need to get Sachin now.
