filbertway Posted 3 September 2007 Share Posted 3 September 2007 I really don't get the appeal of bands like the pidgeon detectives and the frattelis. Oasis decided it was a good idea to ram the fact that they were gritty and working class down everyones throats and it seems like some kind of authenticity card for insecure bands who obviously don't feel the quality(or lack of it) of their music can speak for itself. Where are the upper class lazy b*stard bands when you need them eh?
Nod.E Posted 5 September 2007 Share Posted 5 September 2007 Anybody going in November to see them at Rock City? I may well be. Just need to sort out people and lifts etc. If i am going. I'm looking forward to that beast.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 6 September 2007 Share Posted 6 September 2007 I think they're one of the worst bands I've heard in a long time. Burn your NMEs, kids, there's five decades of quality tunes you could be listening to instead of this slop
The People's Hero Posted 6 September 2007 Share Posted 6 September 2007 I listened to their album the other day and almost cried. It was that immature, basic, childish and predictable. Is this what music has become?
