xlive2 Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 hey guys im thinking about signing up for city world from the OS for the season but im just wondering if it will work on windows vista it says 98/me and xp does any1 else have vista that also have world thanx for the help guys
Daggers Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 It worked on Vista last season so I can hardly see it not working now.
BigGibbo Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 IS IT WORTH GETTING OR NOT THEN? I've just had an email saying "Exclusive World Season Ticket Holder Offer, See the full picture for just £19.99!" Is it worth it? Is this the first reasonable monthly season ticket benefit? Is this Peter Jones finally pulling some strings? All this to be answered & more when Daggers arrives in the thread!
JoeyB Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 He has arrived andleft. LCW is shite, dont get it
Russell352 Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I have Vista and it works fine. It's pretty good to get to see all the goals n stuff and to listen to the matches live. (Radio Leicester have some annoying rights issue so you can't listen on the net) But TBH I only have it cus I live in Newcastle and work alot of weekends so I don't get to see many of the games. If I lived closer I probs wouldnt bother. P.S. I bet someone will now tell me how I can listen to the games on the net for free without LCFC world.

I have Vista and it works fine. As already stated the match highlights are the main thing if you can't get to games (home or away). The home post-match press conference with 'our Nige' is another feature I watch along with the occasional interview with the players. That said, they normally update the OS with a written article a few days later highlighting the main points discussed. Sometimes the interviews will be audio only. Why don't you trial it for a month and see what you think?
BigGibbo Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Why don't you trial it for a month and see what you think? I think its a twenty pound take it or leave it offer, I wasn't given a month choice! The reviews on here have been pretty damning so I won't get it for now, but if I get through the weekend without spending much I might just buy it for the sake of it!

There is a 4 day trail for 99p on the world option. Make sure you cancel it afterwards though as they'll bill you extra as an exciting monthly benefit!!
lavrentis Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 My dad pays £3.99 a month for it. All you get is boring interviews and match highlights you can get on Virgin. I think I'm going to tell him to save his money and cancel it.
potter3 Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I get it monthly. It's good No t's not. I had it free for a year and there was one good feature, just one, and that was so annoying to use <_<
Ashley Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Personally I think LCFC WORLD TV is good. Get it
Daggers Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I get it monthly. It's good That is such a kids' perspective. If I'm not getting it four times a week I'm getting grumpy.

davieG Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 How many of you that think it's good are paying for it out of money that you've earned? I don't mean pocket money!
Daggers Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 How many of you that think it's good are paying for it out of money that you've earned? I don't mean pocket money! I reckon it's better than it was, I'm happy to pay for it and I earn my own money. So that's one
davieG Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 I reckon it's better than it was, I'm happy to pay for it and I earn my own money. So that's one Anyone living away from Leicester and thus deprived of the riches that are the Leicester Mercury & Radio Leicester would think that

The Reverend Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 It's £4 a month for fck sake, its hardly breaking the bank. £1 a week to see highlights of 1/2 games, as well as about 2/3 interviews with players.
