Toby or not Toby Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Very interesting line up, I'm delighted with that to be honest. Kenton is the second best right back at the club so is the obvious choice with Chambers out injured, and Sheehan is probably the best left back at the club so it makes sense he'd be starting. Good stuff all round. Will be good to see how that front three get on - I hope it is a proper 4-3-3 though rather than 4-4-2 with Weslowski & Hume/Campbell/Fryatt on one of the wings.. It may be 4-3-1-2 with Hume playing just behind the fron two of Hume and Campbell.
Cal Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Think i would have prefered to give Stearman a run out at right back, But that looks a pretty good team to me.
Rossatron Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 HendersonKenton N'Gotty McAuley Sheehan Kishishev Clemence Wesolowski Campbell Hume Fryatt good line up, hope fryatt does well
Wooly Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 I think Stearman needs a spell out of the team to realise that if he doesn't start playing well soon then he's fooked it. He hasn't had a good game for about 14 months!
BigGibbo Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 it seems allen would agree with me that we aint got enough quality out wide in the squad sheehans the only remotely wide player on the pitch
BigGibbo Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 It may be 4-3-1-2 with Hume playing just behind the fron two of Hume and Campbell. the geezer on the radio reckons that hume & fryatt are upfront and dj is in midfield for some reason not quite as exciting if thats the case
Matt Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 WOOHOO! No De Vries. Or is it because MA wants to "save him" for the weekend?!
Eastern Fox Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Interesting that Nielsen is left on the bench, makes you wonder when Allen is going to use him if at all. Was he really bad in pre-season?
morris1234 Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 the geezer on the radio reckons that hume & fryatt are upfront and dj is in midfield for some reason not quite as exciting if thats the case well dj was put into midfield against blacpool when he first came on but at the end of the day MA will play who he wants where he wants!
majestic fox Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 we need to print a few goals tonight maybe 4
Toby or not Toby Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Interesting that Nielsen is left on the bench, makes you wonder when Allen is going to use him if at all. Was he really bad in pre-season?He was unsure with crosses and i never really saw him have a proper shot to save.the geezer on the radio reckons that hume & fryatt are upfront and dj is in midfield for some reason not quite as exciting if thats the caseOh, Raise our hopes then dash them
James. Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Would someone be kind enough to supply a radio link that isn't the BBC Radio Leicester site? They've cut it off, I assume for legal stuff.
