Sunderland duo complete loan moves

Solid enough deals! Definately a step in the right direction.

I like Fulop as a keeper and that one may have a chance of turning into a permanent deal as they have obviously just broken the British transfer fee for a keeper in Craig Gordon. Fulop left Spurs for first team footy and I doubt he`ll settle with being number 2.

Competition at left-back is great. Send Sheehan away and get Mattock in for say 15 league games and play him at left midfield every now and then. Ease him into football as he is still a kid and expecting too much from him may destroy the sod and we dont want that to happen to one of the best youngsters to come through the ranks in the last decade.

Been told by Stoke fan that Clarke is ok, nothing special and is slow but will be able to do a solid enough job for us. Plus only a 3month deal so probably more of a trial period than anything, so won't be stuck with another fringe player if he doesn't succeed. Happy with the Keeper, heard good things, just hope he is solid and doesn't make silly mistakes, something all our keepers have had in abundance recently! Still hate the fact we have so many fringe players who we can't get rid of! Striker and Left Midfielder and Danny Murphy please and we should do ok.

If it helps you explain why signing two players is going to solve our problems then dig out!

I suppose signing JFH would have solved our inability to score

Well you seem to be saying they wont be the answer to the problem and then slating someone who says they will.

You can't see into the future either mate so get over it.

We've signed 2 players in problematic positions and yes that does solve most of the problem.

Give them a fookin chance.

The original statement was that by signing two players who played in two of our three problem positions, we had solved two of those three problems. Your response was to ask how signing two players to play in those positions solved those problems.

Think of it like those things you played with as a child (and quite possibly still play with), where you get the hole shapes and the blocks that meet each shape, and think of the players as blocks and the problems as the holes

No not really but you don't actually appriciate he's making the effort to sort these problems we have out.

You just sit there and slate him because hes not signed Casillas and Carlos.
