Charnwood Norris Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Saw Matt Elliot whilst on a National Express bus day trip in Oxford of all places; drinking coffee and smoking , this was when his playing days were over. Locally, not many, just Rab Douglas outside the Italian restaurant in Quorn, Weso & Kisnorbo at Greggs, Loughborough, and a baseball-capped Hume & his bird eating a Sunday roast at Toby Carvery. Izzett shopping at Pilot Clothing, Leicester in the 90's. He's actually taller in real life than he looks on the pitch/T.V - about 5'10.5" - always thought 8 stone nothing and 5'7". Heskey and unknown black mate in a Lotus Esprit car at a set of traffic lights near Westfields, Leicester whilst I was at college, circa 96. They were looking at me and laughing whilst I was crossing, I was a geeky-looking kid back then. Peter Shilton and Gordon Banks in Loughborough Marker Square in the 80's.

The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Saw Andy King milling about in Leicester last Friday. So that's where Kingsmill bread comes from.
Fat Ron Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Muzzy Izzet and Steve Walsh in Kings bar most Friday nights, Quality lads always up for a laugh.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Saw Andy King milling about in Leicester last Friday. That's him off to Mansfield on loan then. (A bizarre reference to the "milling Stags" we had to put up with on Fox Fanzine about five years ago. Milling all over the place they were)
Fat Ron Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Also met Roberto Mancini, looking at football boots back in the day. He wasnt impressed with my blue Preds!

Milling all over the place they were) Won't be long before he's setting up goals which the BBC (evil) conspire not to give him credit for and then has his loan mysteriously terminated despite being the best player they've ever ever ever had.* * with the exception of Alan Sheehan and Stephen Dawson who are, in fact, both the best player the world has ever seen. Bizarre that two mediocre players can share that ONE title, but there you go.
Ric Flair Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 So that's where Kingsmill bread comes from. King 9.5* - Even watching him walking down the street, there was no complaints. Just got on with the job, always looking to step up and down the curb if it meant getting to his destination quicker. Reminded me of an ageing folk band, still with a lust of Penny Farthings and Moave Hankerchiefs. Incisive but to call him workman like would be an in-justice, his hooded top was more of a hinderance to him as he walked along than the likes of Kishishev, Chambers or Newton could ever trouble him in a game of Ker-plunk.
The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Ball winner. Playmaker. Miller. Baker. Rentboy to the racist, ageist perverts of the county. Do his talents know no bounds?
