He came into my work today (Sainsburys Restaurant, rather swathe - i know!)

He had a jacket potato and salad which surprised me as i thought he may have gone for the Mega All day Brunch option. He did however have a fizzy drink, and left some salad :D

He also left his Leicester Mercury on the table, which i took a swoop for :)

Anyone else saw footballers anywhere? I know we have a thread like this somewhere but im not looking through and the poor search button needs a break. ;)

In my time as a newsagent in Groby i've served Ian Walker, Matt Heath, Paul Dickov (around the time of that rape malarkey), Julian Joachim, Callum Davidson (and hot wife), Louis Dodds and family :P, Richard Stearman and his missus who was in my year at school. Paul Ramsey almost lives in Wilsons in Groby too.

I also saw Levi Porter in town the other day. And i've met Neil Lennon in the Red Cow in Kirby and Muzzy Izzet in Movie Zone in Groby.

And apparently from my new Geordie football loving boss Stephen Hughes always comes into my new shop, yet too see him though. Also Paddy Mac used to frequent my new gaff - One Stop in Kirby until his move darn sarf.

Ill keep you posted on the incredible adventures of LFF and his Leicester City players sight seeing tour!

I lived in Leicester for three years and the only Leicester player I ever saw was James Scowcroft in Subway (in full LCFC tracksuit, what a geek).

Oh and a woman with the same face as Andy Impey in the market.

Nothing wrong with being proud of your workplace. You'll see me often outside the Maccy's in town, donning my full Sainsburys outfit.

I had my picture taken with Pontus Kaamark and the MIGHTY Ian Marshall at the Griffin in Swithland when Birch was landlord there. We posed with the Premier League trophy, which was there for no reason at all. It's a smashing picture. Pontus looks every inch the master of clean cut Scandinavian sophistication, my brother and I look like grinning idiots and Ian Marshall just looks like some bloke who's wandered in and shouldn't be there.

I saw Neil Lennon in the Orange Tree once at around the time he joined Celtic. My mate was a bit tanked up and asked him not to leave, which was fair enough except that he was in the toilets at the time. I always said that was the final straw for Lenny. We know now that he was very depressed at the time and I doubt being hassled in the bogs by a drunken shortarse was likely to help his state of mind.

I saw Kisnorbo and Nils Eric in Banter last year but that's barely worth mentioning. I occasionally see Wesolowski wandering around town on my way home from work. It's funny because when he sees you looking at him he gets quite nervous, poor little lad. The next time I see him I'm going to run after him with my arms and eyes wide shouting 'I only want to be your friend, Jim'

I think the race is on now to be the first person to go out and see a city player and post back on here.

*Goes to Louis Dodds' house*

Shit he plays for Lincoln.

*Comes back looking silly*

Sorry Thracian

I was on the open bus tour around the city when we got promoted in 96. My Dad works for the council and some how got us onto it, i sat with Muzzy (hense the sig) so basically spoke to just about all the players from that wonderful year.

What's Stearman's girlfriend like? My 12 yr old daughter adores him and will be really upset if he's in a long term relationship with a stunner!!!
