Thread to discuss about everthing/anything about the gym. Their pet hates etc. I've been bodybuilding for about 6 months now, anyone else into this kinda thing, Creatine, Protein shakes etc etc!

Well I'll start it, my pet hate is people who leave dumbells lying around after using them on a bench, really ****s me off.... :@

My pet hate is body builders who strut around the gym thinking they own the place, constantly checking themslves out in the mirror, looking down on anyone who appears to have more brain cells than their daily steroid intake and generally being arrogant, vain, obnoxious idiots.

I 100% agree with you, all wankers. The pople I respect are people that actually look good but don't flaunt it so to speak. You dont have to go to the gym just to be a bodybuilder though...

I hate chavs in the gym who start shadow boxing in the mirrors, they look moronic and everyone hates them. I've found a lot of very ugly short chavs with bad skin do this, not sure if there is a correlation between the constructs.

Hmmmmmmm could anyone tell me a good gym to go to coz i have some "UN-USED" muscle

I go to Fitness 1st on Beggars Lane LFE, and ive got some decent results.... More to the point, a few of the receptionists are pretty tasty ;)

If you had some bulging going on, you'd want to show it off as well.:whistle:

Yeh, but i don't show it off to myself in a supersized mirror

people who only go gym to get themselves bigger, fairplay if it how they want to look, but not the ones who only want to do it so people say "good hes massive dont mess with him" and just wanting to look "hard"

In my opinion you don't have to be massive to be hard. Amir Khan is a prime example of that. he's like 9 stone or something, and hatton isn't exactly a giant and there both 'hard' as you put it

Gym's, well, where I live, are abodes for throwback primates who base their intra-male hierarchies on size, and size only.

They just can't help curse those male members which are slim or not into bulking, like cyclists (usually by staring at them like their a piece of shit).

Maybe those bulls have some pseudo-homo attraction to big men?

Unfortunately I have only been educated to A level standard and struggling to get to grip with some of the phrases highlighted above!
