Simon Posted 9 September 2007 Posted 9 September 2007 I bet he changes the 11. I bet he does too. I hope he doesn't, but I think he will.
Joe. Posted 9 September 2007 Posted 9 September 2007 I'm confident he'll stick with the same team. Even a man of McLaren's intelligence can surely stick with a 3-0 winning team.
Thracian Posted 9 September 2007 Posted 9 September 2007 Heskey was immense. He's such versatile and influential team player and was a far too strong for the Israeli defence to cope with.
jingofin Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 Heskey was immense. He's such versatile and influential team player and was a far too strong for the Israeli defence to cope with. BBC are saying Lampard and Hargreaves are both out for the Russia game. Very likely we will see the same 11 start now. If Mclaren puts in Crouch for Heskey he should be shot.
sdb Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 McClaren's setting himself up for a big backlash if he changes a team that's just won 3-0 and played cohesively for the first time in 5 years. But you never know...
Geo V Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 Heskey was immense. He's such versatile and influential team player and was a far too strong for the Israeli defence to cope with. Imagine what he would do to there attackers if he was marshaling the defence!

lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I bet he does too. I hope he doesn't, but I think he will. And today's surprise footballing headline reads: McClaren hints at changes
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 It sounds very much like Crouch with partner Owen. Although I hope Heskey retains his place.
Joe. Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Bloody McLaren. The man's clueless. I can't believe he's changing the team after Saturday.... <_<
Bryn Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 He'd better not drop fooking Heskey, Crouch isn't anything close to as good a target man as Heskey.
Kent Fox Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I'm confident he'll stick with the same team. Even a man of McLaren's intelligence can surely stick with a 3-0 winning team. Bloody McLaren. The man's clueless. I can't believe he's changing the team after Saturday.... <_< Two outstanding quotes, Joe. Both right and yet so different. SM is a di ck head. We didn't play so well when Bruno came off. Big Man, Little Man works. Is Steve Mac the only person in England who can't see it? But then, Crouch is big.. And crap. Oh, whatever.. Bruno deserves to keep his place. End of.
Alexikokopops Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Why? I think he was referring to that penisbreath we've got managing the England team.
lildave3 Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I think he was referring to that penisbreath we've got managing the England team. Yes, yes I was.
