Years ago I used to own a footy management game by mail called Empire games and I got the idea after playing in this fantasy style game by mail called Apex pbm (play-by-mail). I rejoined the game a few years back as it still exists (cracking simple game) but left it a couple of years ago as members got bored and were leaving in droves. My name is George but everyone calls me Geo and have done for years and Apexgeo was created by some of the lads on the site. Its fantastically creative.

Geo V Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I used to do that PBM when I was a kid, great fun! All the excitement of awaiting your results in the post! I did it as a kid and then was hired some builders called "Apex builders" a few years back and the memories came flooding back. The game is still going by post but the appeal has gone since the results went up online and people cant be bothered anymore. I suppose we are all wannabe football managers though and you only have to see how many pages things like Football Manager 07 or 08 are getting!

This is why I keep coming of FT, procrastinating and avoiding doing work!
