When my winger takes a throw and my CM just boots it out at exactly the same place. 3. When my players ALWAYS shoot from free kicks, never get the ball in.

David Guiza Posted 13 July 2008 Posted 13 July 2008 No it's worse when you concede them <_< and the player who scored has jumping and heading abut 8 normally My team seems to be turning into Retriement F.C but it's working so im not complainin i have Makaay / Pandiani / Gomes / Carlos / Biscan / Graverson / De Merit but with them comes experiance Blended in with Aaron Ramsey / Kuskczak / Stearman / Wheater / Bostock i think iv found a good team finally looks like a mid table finish in my first prem season with Leicester but got into the quarters of the F.A cup with only Liverpool left out the big 4 so it could be a way into Europe

For me is when you dont set a taker for free kicks or penalty then the most stupid person takes it but sometime scores anyway , e.g Muamba got 10 from free kicks for Leicester on mine , and 5 for Mcauley from the penalty spot

The AI plays a 4-2-4 formation as a last-ditch measure but instead of just doing it in the last 5 mins in cups etc it does it every time it goes behind. You need to go really defensive, remove forward arrows from midfield, set your fullbacks to not make forward runs and tick the counter attack box and it reduces it by about a third. Tried stealing the computers idea and it sent me on a 14-match unbeaten run that gave me a chance of the title with 2 games to go, but I lost to bottom side Boston which left me in the playoffs. I score loads from corners too using the trick, but without it, its impossible especially with the default setup. If you need to know it, its aim at 6-yd box, best header on challege keeper, poacher standing on far post, good fast headers attacking the posts, guy with a big shot on him outside the area, keep the rest out of the box - good for about 20 goals a season.

Haha, in my game O'Neill got the sack half way through the first season for being in 14th, they brought in Vicente Del Bosque who's taken them down and lost the playoffs, despite spending more than he sold.
