lildave3 Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 Can't believe that. ****ing Puyol, the long haired nonce. Champions League only chance of silverware
lildave3 Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 Heinze can **** off. Think that's 3 times he's been sent off now. willy puller.
Simi Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 Can't believe that.****ing Puyol, the long haired nonce. Champions League only chance of silverware Another thing that made it better was that Arshavin scored the controversial equaliser. A player Dave went after, but then I offered him a better contract and he joined me.
lildave3 Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 Can't argue with finishing 2nd when 1st has a great season. That was Real Madrid's highest points total since 96/97. <_<
Simi Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 Summary of LD3's season. Runner up in league - I won. Runner up in cup - I won. Runner up in manager of the year - I won. His player came runner up in player of the year - Mine won. Runner up in the Champions League final - Inter won
lildave3 Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 All Mike Riley's fault. How the **** did he get to manage a champions league final. And Heinze. AGAIN. If he wasn't suspended (again) then Drenthe would never have played, therefore he would never have given away a foolish (albeit controversial) penalty. Robben equaliser in the 95th minute, then the damn game wouldn't let me make my changes before they kicked off again, leaving me with 10 up front. I love this game and I hate this game.

lildave3 Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Hectic pre-season in my Leicester game so far, plenty of ins and outs which can only be bad. Was forced into selling Tunchev for 5.5 million too. And on net game with Ched, I now have an unbelievably huge squad but want to keep everyone.
act smiley Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I always do that too - I tend to harvest so many youngsters that when they should be breaking through into the first team I have about 20 in one position of all the same quality, plus loads of extras I always bring in on frees at the end of the season before realising that I just signed 6 wingers and I only needed one of them.

Madrid are just full of quality though. Some top youth that I hadn't noticed last season, some returning from loans and some i've splashed out on.

Steve McGarry, never fails to score in the Championship, shouldn't cost more than 500k and even at that I'd be surprised if they pushed you for that much. Jay Simpson from Arsenal is a good investment although obviously no experience.
