After 19 games we're keeping our heads above water in 16th place (Leicester under Megson struggling in 22nd ). Malcolm Christie has proved an inspired free transfer scoring 12 in 18 up front on his own having adopted a 4-1-4-1 formation. 6 games to go and I'm 14th with the tiniest chance of making the play-offs, just 7 points of 6th. Injuries have hindered Malcolm Christie's progress but 16 goals in 31 starts is still an impressive ratio for a free transfer. Oh, and another great free transfer I snaffled was Stuart Taylor, the former Leicester loanee, for some unknown reason Villa just released him. Leicester, having replaced Megson with Dave Jones are still struggling, one point from safety in 22nd.

Anyway, a change of tactics and unbeaten in 7 games. Up to 13th place, 6 points off play-offs! C'mon Leicester.
