It turns out the version i have is for crafty gits like me who illegally download... on mine i have belurus winning world cups and armenia winning euro's... It really distracts the gameplay for me.... My own fault tho, i should have went out and brought the bloody thing.... Looks like i will have to do that in the new year!! Out of interest has anybody else on here expereinced this??

morris1234 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 major glitch on my game, happened in other gamesaves too but all international tournaments are weird, a few european teams got placed into the african cup of nations but the worst is i was england for a bit (as i was bored) i easily qualified for the later stages of the euro 2008, but in every group what happened was the bottom 4 teams (like austria etc) went through so its armenia v kazakhstan in the final. its happened in all international tourneys, a french international team called reunion just won the african cup of nations??? oh and i got the sack from the fa because i didnt qualify.

Fame glory and lots of money coming my way from the champions league i hope!

I hadn't been in the play-offs all season, then I snook in in the last 2 games. Then beat Sheffield United 2-1 in the final. I was around mid-table when the January window opened but then the signings of strikers Danny Haynes (Ipswich, 850k) and Syargey Konilenko (Dnipro, 850k) boosted me. Also, I had 'leading premier league players' Mika Aaritalo (200k) and Gabriel Torje (275k). I am pleased anyway, 2nd in the Championship but knocked out of both the League Cup and FA Cup in the 3rd Round which is disappointing... BUT when we got to the January transfer window, Aston Villa put in a bid of 5 million for Mattock who is a beast for me on the left side of midfield and MANDARIC accepted it!!!!! GGGGRRRRRR!!!!! Now I'm more stuck that EVER on the left and have to play Porter until the end of the season and suddenly things aren't going quite as well as I would like any more... nevertheless, I will keep going and let you all know what happens... Am VERY pissed off about Mattock though... oh, Weso also wants to leave... he got pissed when I rejected a bid of 3.8 million from Anderlecht for him! I have to admit that I am shocked that clubs were offering so much... then again, I was asking 5 mill for Mattock and 5 mill for Weso...

That is a deliberate bug (of many) put in by SI to ruin the cheap skates' games who decide to download an illegal copy Buy the game instead of downloading a pirate one.

I don't get that bug, but I know of many people with a legal copy who do. SI have just said that to cover their backs, its just a generic bug.

Only if they carried on from the demo as the demo had the bug in (illegal copies are simply ones that enable you to continue the demo version eg. removes the limit if you get me) so if you carried on with your demo version, you'd be bound to get it.

FleckneyFox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 This is wat ive done on my good career 2007-08 Kettering Town 1st in BSN, Automatic promotion 2008-09 Kettering Town 17th in BSP 2009-10 Resign from Kettering 19th in table and couldnt attract any good players on wage budget 2010-11 Shrewsbury Town 2nd in BSP, lost in playoff final 2011-12 Shrewsbury Town 4th in BSP, lost in playoff final again 2012-13 Chester City resigned 30 something games into season due to a poor run 2013-14 Halifax Town 4th in League 2, Lose in playoff final again 2014-15 Halifax Town 7th in League 2, Win playoff final on penos! Thats what ive done so far just about to start 2015-16 season in League 1 i only got promoted cuz my parent club (Sheff Wed) sent me some kid called Chris Simmonds and he played 17 and scored 15! In the playoff semi final i was against Doncaster i lost the home leg 5-4 and then i went and won the away leg 4-0!

Man City got relegated so went on a plundering session to get their best players with the 15 million that I had as a transfer budget...

Bought in Thompson (Free), Seth Johnson (Free) and matty pattison on loan. Then nobody in january. Sold Maybury, Kenton and Hammond all for 100k each Not played in prem yet but got man city, arsenal and spurs up first Bought in Fulop permantly, Etherington and Bojinov (loan). Not sure who i sold.
