potter3 Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 In 6 games I've got Arsenal twice, Man U, Chelsea and Rapid Bucharest, aswell as WBA, think I'm going to lose a few <_< Played 5 of them, won 3 and lost 2, playing Arsenal again next. Hmmm, 18.6 million + Ben Arfa for my best defender
Brainy Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Omg... Cant say I like the computerized faces - Ghana assistant manager is pretty funny though.
morris1234 Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 advie needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. elano or cristiano ronaldo! im arsenal and am starting 2nd season. WENT UNBEATEN in the league but didnt win ote else ive only signed players for my youth team and obafemi martins over the 2 seasons. and have riquelme on loan i havent got an amazing squad although it might sound like it with the players ive just mentioned. now elano would fit nicely into my team not too much of a big name so wont disrupt my team. he played 32 scored 13 assists 10 8 MOM for man city. AR.7.09. he would cost me 34 mill. cristiano speaks for himself. great player but didnt perform but for sme reason unite dplayed a 5-3-2 last season (finished 5th) and they played him wing back. he played 33 scored 13 assist 2 mom 0. Average Rating. 6.94. he would cost me 45 mill (10% on next sale but that hopefully wont happen) but cristianos international performances are wicked. dont know what to do....................... help??!!

Jack Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 On a serious note, why'd you need to spend that sorta money on players when you are unbeaten. I'd say keep your money
morris1234 Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 On a serious note, why'd you need to spend that sorta money on players when you are unbeaten.I'd say keep your money no i sold hleb because he was shite and i have walcott and wijnaldum for the right but wijnaldum isnt ready yet nowhere near and im thinking of elano/cristiano tutoring wijnaldum so whod you think. and money doesnt matter tbh i have so much that might be why ive done well like you said but my wingers were shite last season. rosicky has sorted his act out and ended up in the team of the year with fabregas, martins and kameni.
Granno Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Just started with Hinckley. I'm gonna try and get them into the Football League.

Tubes Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 How do you get players to tutor up and coming players? On occasions when i have joined a cleb players are already tutoring other players but I'd like to know how to get them to do it myself

I think it only works if they're on a pro contract though
filbertway Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Ndlovu and Byfield are saving my MK Dons season atm, starting to shoot back up the table after slipping down to 11th I said I would win the league as well, so heres to hoping for no injuries

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 The Foxes are Prem Champions! Just a shame that was the season after they refused to give me a contract extension and employee Claude Makele instead! That was after - First Season: promtion through playoff's Second Season: Relagation - no money to get anything decent in Third Season: promotion - 2nd Fourth Season: Survived by skin of teeth Fifth Season: Survived - got hold of Baros and Carson in Jan, looking like a decent side what with close season signings Also had the role of Ivory Coast Manager during my time - in fact still with them. Joined Sheffield Wedensday for a season in league 1 - finished 11th, pretty poor. Moved to Charlton in Champ - losing shit loads of money, not winning - oh dear!
NorthernFox Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 Managed to get promoted first season but i'm struggling badly in the prem. 12 games in 6 draws, 6 losses. Only victories 2 wins in league cup away at west ham and ipswich. Got 8 million to spend and can't get any big names in. Kevin bloody Phillips refused to come!!
General Smuts Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Can anyone enlighten me as to how you upload an updated version of a database into a game your already in? Im sure i read somewhere its possible. Is it? And if it is how does it affect the game your playing? Does it completely change the team? Please help.
act smiley Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 No, if you have more than one database version you just pick between them when you start a new save.
DB11 Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I started a new game as Newcastle. £600m transfer budget £9m wage budget But no one will come to me Can anyone enlighten me as to how you upload an updated version of a database into a game your already in? Im sure i read somewhere its possible. Is it?And if it is how does it affect the game your playing? Does it completely change the team? Please help. Strictly speaking, you can't. However, if you get an in-game editor (FMM) then you can edit the database whilst in game eg. Give your team lots of money and keep topping it up etc.
