Libertine Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 The one you're downloading is usually seen as their best. The Battle of LA and Evil Empire are great too, though.
Bryn Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 All their albums are good, self titled is best by a mile but there are classics on all the others as well.
filbertway Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Seeing as they're headlining at Leeds this year I'm determined to like these before going. So I'm starting early- anybody recommend their best album to me?Currently I'm just downloading their self-titled one. Are you planning on doing what I am, bit of shambles bit of rage? By the looks of it they're pretty good live, get the crowd going.

I'd like to see both yeah. I can imagine Rage to be pretty immense live, but at the same time I wouldn't like to miss Babyshambles either! Decisions, decisions.

Decisions, decisions. Both both, I think NME was like a 3/4 minute walk to the main stage, so you can watch 30 mins of shambles and an hour of rage

Also saw Billy Bragg there for the first time...gotta love the man!! Big Day out...is an amazing event...couple of OZ bands you may not have heard but worth listening to are.. Hilltop hoods regurgitator silverchair

The Battle of Los Angeles is severely underatted and better than their self-titled, imo. I like to listen to Sleep Now in the Fire before a bout of 5 a side.
